You glanced at your phone again, anxiously waiting for Tom's plane to land. The weather, however, seemed to have different plans. You heard thunder rumble in the distance and could only imagine the storm clouds gathering in the sky. You groaned at the thought of Tom's arrival being delayed.

You stood up from the hard, plastic seat and went back to check Tom's flight information. According to his flight number, he was still on time and should be landing in a few minutes. But of course, that probably wouldn't happen.

In your hand, your phone started ringing. You glanced at it and saw your best friend calling you.

"Hello?" you answered, still looking at Tom's flight information.

"Oh, the irony of the situation." You raised your eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"

"It was a storm that brought you and Tom together, and now it's a storm keeping the two of you apart." You rolled your eyes.

"Ha ha. Very funny."

"But seriously, how's the weather? Will he be delayed?"

"I'm not sure. He's supposed to be on time, but with the weather, he'll probably be diverted to another airport."

"Well, at least he's not suck in London."

"True." You heard yelling on the other end of the line.

"Well, I gotta go. I'm supposed to make dinner, and I may have forgotten." You smiled.

"Have fun with that," you said, as your friend's mother's yelling became louder. "Talk to you later." You ended the call and winced at another rumble of thunder.

"Waiting for someone?" a voice asked. You turned and saw a girl around your age with red hair and brown eyes.

"Yeah," you replied, noticing how her hair was much less vibrate than Victoria's. The girl chuckled.

"Me too," she said, smiling and revealing pearly white teeth. She motioned to her phone while gesturing to you. "I follow you on Instagram," she said. "You're Tom Holland's girlfriend, right?"

"Uh, yeah," you said, breaking eye contact. No matter how often it happened, you didn't like being pointed out as Tom's girlfriend. It made you uncomfortable. You tucked a strand of hair behind your ear and looked back at the time. Come on, weather. Hold out for just a little longer!

"So who are you waiting for?"

"Oh, Tom, actually," you said, wishing this girl would leave.

"Really." It wasn't a question, more of a statement. You turned to the girl and saw her brow furrowed and her arms crossed over her chest. "Because I'm here to pick up Tom."
