Its Finally Here

The next morning Alex stayed in bed for the longest , She just layed there hadnt been to sleep but she wasnt tired. She didnt want to talk to nobody but Cameron , and at this point she didnt even want to talk to him. " Dude tomorrow I start chemo" Alex said to her self . She was mad , but she had nobody to be mad at . " Why is God Punishing me '' she asked herself. Alex felt like God was punishing her . For what reason ? She didnt know . Alex looked over and it was already 3:00 . " Let me get up " Alex had planned to go see a few family members and Cameron . She just needed to get away. She secretly wanted to get a bus ticket a anywhere far she wouldnt have to go to chemo the next day. She knew it woouldnt work . This particular day Alex took her time getting dressed and doing her makeup . She knew it would be a while before she would be beautiful again . She had being doing research on what chemo did to the body , to the hair and skin .  Alex prayed and prayed that her hair wouldnt come out.  She was pretty sure it would but who knew only time would tell .

Alex' first stop was to her aunts house , " Hey Uncle Levi" she said walking into the house . " Hey neice " he said . " Hey Ellie " her little cousins all said . " Hey Yall " . " Ellie today my birthday " Her little cousin Gabby said . " I know ,Happy Birthday " Alex said . '' Thank You." Gabby said hugging Alex. Alex was surprised because little kids normally thought she was mean but not Gabby. " Well I got idea ." Alex said . " How about yall go put yall shoes on and ill buy everybody happy meals" Alex smiled. Every little kid in the room face lit up. " YAYYYYY" they screamed.  " You forreal?" Her older cousin asked. " Yea , i have nothing else to do " Alex said . Alex put all 5 of her little cousins  in the backseat . She let the birthday girl sit in the front . Alex took them to Mcdonalds and they enjoyed their happy meals and they headed back to he aunts house.  The little kids went to continue playing . " How you feeling niece" her uncle asked. "  You want me to lie or tell you the truth " she asked. " You know i want the truth".  " I dont know how im feeling honestly , I dont want to do it but i have no choice" Alexandra said. " Well you know you have to in order for you to live a long healthy life. he said. " But why what if i want it to kill me , chemo only speeding up the process" Alex said. " Dont talk like that" her uncle replied . " What im just saying , everybody saying do chemo but dont nobody know what it feel like " She said. " You dont know what it feel like yet, it may not even be that bad"  he said.  "True" she said .

After leaving her aunts house , Alex proceeded to Camerons house . She couldnt believe she started chemo in less than a day , it was a hourly countdown . As she fell into his arms she didnt know what to feel anymore . " What if I dont win this fight " she asked her self . " Sug , dont think like that" he said hugging her . " I dont want you thinking like that " he said . " okay" Alexandra said.  " Sug , I know this is a hard time but we are going to get through this , but you have to promise me something , You have to promise me that you're not going to give up. " " I cant promise but i cant try" she said . Alex felt the tears coming . " None of this is fair " she said . " I know bae but you gotta fight" .
