Skylar's POV

I went over to Eric's to hang with him before the concert. He was messing with the crusier.

"Hey Muffin" I said. "Whatchya doin?"

"Muffin?" he asked.

"Yeah" I shrugged. "Stud Muffin, get it? No. Whatever it doesn't matter."

"Oh that's cute" he said. "Guess what."

"What?" I said. He held up the car keys and jingled them. "No. Really?"

"Yep" he smiled. "She's all mine."

He bent down and hugged the car.

"Ya know Forman" I said. "I've known you for a very long time, my entire life in fact, and the emotional attachment you have to this car concerns me."

"Oh shut it" he said. I laughed.

"So..." he said.

"A needle pulling thread" I said.

"You're such a smart ass" he laughed.

"Oh come on," I said. "You say that like it's a bad thing. I'll have you know that my sarcasm is a vital part to my amazing personality."

"I completely agree with you" he said.

"Why did you say "So"?" I asked blushing.

"What do you wanna do until the concert?" he asked.

"I don't know" I said. "Wanna shoot some hoops? Play a little 1v1. Duel it out? Winner gets to do anything legal to the loser?"

"Oooh" he said, intrigued. "You're on Pinciotti."

**************************************

We played until Kelso got there. Eric beat me 4-3.

"I am the champion" he said, throwing his hands in the air victoriously.

"Mmm," I said, shaking my head. "Maybe at basketball. But not at wrestling."

"OOH BURN!" Kelso shouted. Eric glared at him and I laughed.

Eric checked the tire pressure as Donna walked over. Kelso and I walked to the passenger side of the car. He opened up the door to the front seat.

"Oh thanks Kelso" I said, moving to sit in the car. "Such a gentlemen."

"Actually I'm riding shotgun" he said.

"In your dreams dufus" I said, shoving him away from the door.

"God!" he yelled. "It's not fair how strong you are for a girl! Eric?"

"Kelso" he said. Kelso got a smug look on his face and moved back towards the car. "Get in the back."

Kelso gasped in shock and then angrily climbed in the backseat. Donna sat in the back next to Kelso, behind Eric and I sat in the passenger seat.

"Takin her for a spin, eh?" Red asked, walking out of the house.

"Yes sir" Eric said.

"Well have a good time" Red said. I looked at Donna and Kelso confused. Red is never this nice to Eric. "Oh and one more thing," I knew there was a catch. "very important, about the car. She's old so no trips out of town. Ever. Understood? Well. Have fun."

"Well I guess that's that" Eric sighed. "We're not going."

"Eric do you want to go?" I asked.

"He said no trips out of town" he said.

"It's your car" Donna said. "Do you want to go?"

"But he's God!" Eric shouted.
