i awoke with a pounding headache in a room that i didn't recognize? after a moment, i realized i was in jeremy and schmidt's shared apartment, on the couch with a blanket wrapped around me.

i sat up to see my coworkers, all passed out in different places.

vanny was on the carpet with a pillow and a bath towel, mike was on the other couch cuddling vincent for some reason, and scott was also on the carpet with a blanket and a pillow.

i checked my phone, and it was 10 am. i couldn't recall much of last night, but i know i blacked out.

i'm assuming that everyone else is somewhere else in the house, so i just sat there, waiting for everyone else to wake up. i ended up getting bored, but i felt so hungover that i didn't want to go anywhere.

so i fell asleep again, and waited for someone else to wait up. but after an hour, nobody was waking up, so i decided to wake up mike.

i got up very quietly, and ignored my awful headache.

"hey, mike," i whispered to mike. but he wouldn't wake up. so naturally, i decided to project to him.

i preformed a trick that a witch that lived in the mountains taught me. i first focused directly on mike's energy, and soon i found myself inside his mind.

"hey loser," i said to mike as i appeared in front of him. apparently he was dreaming about some little kid who was getting his head shoved into a robot bear head?

i looked at mike, who was watching it go down in his dream, and i saw some sort of decade long pain in his eyes.

"(y/n)? what are you doing here?" he asked.

"i did some dream projection thing to wake you up, since you are physically cuddling vincent right now and i didn't want to wake him up too. i can leave if you want, though." i responded. i feel like i'm intruding on something, but it's a bit too late to casually leave.

"n-no, it's fine. i want to wake up anyway." he smiled at me.

"oh alrighty," i grinned at him as we both suddenly gained physical control of our bodies again.

mike sat up slowly and crawled around vincent.

"follow me," i mouthed to mike as i slowly opened the house's door that led outside as he followed me.

we both just laid down in the grass in the front yard and stared at the clouds.

"how's your head?" i asked as i turned to look at mike.

"oh it hurts like hell, but it could always be worse," he laughed.

"last night you jumped into the lake with jeremy," i smiled.

"i'm pretty sure you did too," he laughed as he turned to look at me.

"look, (y/n), i'm pretty sure i only told you this when i was drunk, but i really like you." he said as he turned his head to look back up at the clouds.

"mike, i really like you too." i smiled as i turned to him again.

"i know, you told me when you were drunk." he laughed.

"i did?" i smiled.

"yeah," he responded. "so i'm pretty sure this is the time where i ask you to be my girlfriend, or something like that?" mike laughs.

"hell yeah, i wanna be ur gf!" i grinned as i hugged mike.

we continued to watch the clouds together until most of the group had woken back up.

"where did y'all go?" fritz asked, pointing to mike, who had his arm around my shoulder.

"mike is my boyfriend now," i laughed.

"for real? i'm happy for you guys," schmidt joined the conversation as he poured himself a cup of coffee.

"thanks schmidt," i smiled in response.

today is gonna be a good day :)
