Hermiones Pov
Hogwarts looked as impressive as it normally. Blaise had elbowed me and muttered 'be quiet, you are new rememeber?' Because I am supposed to be a new kid.
Pansy rattled on kindly about Hogwarts, its history and what Slytherin is like. I had no idea she was so intelligant. She pulls out Hogwarts A History and tells me I can borrow it, I thank her and accept it knowing it would look suspicious if I hadn't.
We are sat in the great hall and I pretended to have no idea what was going on as Blaise and Draco led me over to the Slytherin table. My tie was black, showing that I was new and Slytherin was the only table not gawking at me.
When I asked Draco why he said because most of them had already met me and wanted to be on your good side because of the power you hold. And staring at somebody never normally help you like someone, so fair.
I had power, influence and respect and I hadn't even had a proper conversation with them. Wow.
Dumbledore stood at the front of the Great Hall and taps his wine glass drawing everyones attention.
'It is a fine night to begin a new year at Hogwarts. Before we complete the first years sorting, there is sombody else that needs to be introduced. Recently welcomed home, Serafina-Sienna Zabini will be joining us for her sixth year. Can I ask for Miss Zabini to come to the front to be sorted into her house?'
Professor McGonagall is stood to one side next to the small wooden stall holding the sorting hat. I walk to the front and the hall was silent. Everyone watching me. I finally make it to the front and I turn and sit down. The hat is placed on my head.
Oh, Serafina-Sienna Zabini? You do look different. A new identity to the young girl that I had placed in Griffindor many years ago. But that was never your true house was it? If it wasn't for Headmaster Dumbledore I would've put you in your true house years ago. But then questions would have been raised because no muggleborn ever goes in-
SLYTHERIN!
The sorting hat yelled and it is quickly lifted off my head. I try not to think about its words, I store that information for later and I walk over to the Slytherin table who is cheering. Blasie wraps his arms around me and Draco kisses my hand and I laugh. That was a certainly stupidly loud cheer for a girl they have never met. I laugh and spin around in my hair as the first year sorting begin.
What I didn't expect is for Harry to be looking at me with curiosity. I catch him looking at me and he hurriedly turns around. Well its good to know that Ron and Harry seem okay. On the outside anyway.
Harrys Pov
A girl I didn't recognise was struggling to put her luggage on the holder so I offer to help. She looks away from me but I do notice she has a black tie on. Which suggests she is new, but judging by her appearence and a general guess, I would probably place her in my year.
Just as I was leaving the girl calls out my name. I spin round expecting to recognise the girl but I have never met her before in my life. When I question who she is she hurries off in the direction of the Slytherin carriages which should of been a warning sign.
But I couldn't take my mind off this girl. Everyone knows my name, sure. But she said it as if she knew me, as if she was my friend...
But I suppose imagining things is part of my gried over my best friends death Hermione. The Weasleys and I were devasted and I can't imagine how Hermione's parents must be feeling.
I open the compartment and sit beside Ron and his sister. They had both closed themselves off from other people after Hermione's death. Personally I didn't even know that Hermione and Ginny were that close, but I suppose they did share a room together from time to time.
