'You certainly were tutored well in France Miss Zabini, your knowledge is excellent and your grades are the highest of the year so far! Perhaps if you wouldn't mind giving me the name of this tutor Miss Zabini, I do believe I would learn a fair few things...'

I had drowned out Professor Flitwicks voice. I had other things on my mind. Like pretending I wasn't bothered by the piercing green eyes that were following me wherever I go.

It has been a week since we have all arrived at Hogwarts and despite being Slytherin, a lot of the teaches liked me. In fact I seem to have more respect from them then I did as Hermione Granger.

The attention from being the 'new girl' died down within a few days as I blended very well into Hogwarts life. Which really isn't that surprising if you think about it.

In Slytherin I was automatically accepted as the Slytherin Princess and I even had followers! I followed Mothers advice and created a loyal group of my own. It consisted of the girls that share a dorm room with me; Pansy, Daphne, Beth, Cosmia and Leona. We instantly bonded and according to my darling brother, loads of girls wanted to become part of the 'Slytherin Princess's inner circle.'

Leona was giving the job of showing me around Hogwarts when I had first arrived. She didn't question how I was able to remember the exact place of classrooms after she had pointed them out once on a quick tour or how I knew about the secret passages. I believe she thought I was a quick learner and that Blaise had told me of the passages.

Following mothers advice for the second time, I regained my old title as brightest witch of her age. If any of the teachers found it odd or strange they didn't mention it. Harry however was another issue.

'Hermione had the top grades and she did for years. You wouldn't be at the top, she would.' He said loudly walking past me at the end of the lesson with Ron in tow.

These days Harry reminded me of Lavender and Padma who used to speak loudly to each other in corridors so everyone could purposely hear their conversations.

Thankfully it was only Harry who was curious, Ron didn't seem bothered by me, or anything really. In fact the hot headed friend I knew, has become an empty shell of a boy. Occasionally Ron would look at me but not with any curiosity.

Harry really was another matter.

Half of my lessons were with the Gryffindor's so it was hard enough to have to try to avoid him, but it seems calling out his name back on board the train was the worst thing I could of done.

As much as I wanted to wrap my arms around my best friends and tell them I was okay, Harry needed to stay away from me and he needs to move on.

I told my group that Harry seems to be far to interested in me and I disliked it. Leona offered to keep tabs on Harry. So my friendship with Leona developed quickly while we would spend time together in the Slytherin common room discussing what she has found.

Leona Gadson was a transfer from Beauxbatons early last year and is obviously a pureblood. I found out that pureblood families are not accepting of their children being gay or bi and the reason she was moved; You guessed it, because Leona likes girls.

She told me this last Wednesday when no one else is around. She started the conversation with 'Serafina...there is something you need to know...'

While telling me her story she sounded afraid that I would hate her! I had never seen so much emotion on her face, normally her 'happy' mask' is always up.

Instead I wanted to cry, I wrapped my arms around this girl telling her it is perfectly okay to be whoever she wants to be and like who she wants to like and by no means does this change my opinion of her. We then laughed and I reassured that I think her parents are totally wrong and need a good slap for thinking that liking girls is wrong.
