HEARING SOMETHING RUSTLING in the background, Amanda turned over to put an arm around Marty naturally as she'd been doing these days. Finding an empty space there in his place had her now heaving a deep groan in an attempt to wake up. "Are you talking to me?" Confused on what the hell he was doing this early in the morning, she sat up to see the act he was trying to play in front of the mirror.
Wearing his cowboy hat amidst his undergarments and holster now fastened tightly around his waist, she hid her laughter as Marty tried to confidently point the gun to himself from his own reenactment of his daydream showdown. "You talkin' to me Tannen?" Marty spoke in the mirror as she leaned against the bed, realizing the amount of material she missed out on because of the lack of a camera to photograph him with, "Well, I'm the only one here. Go ahead, make my day."
Coughing loudly nearly sent Marty dropping the gun out of surprise to hear her. He was flailing for a bit before turning over to Amanda as she laughed hysterically over his behavior. Being embarrassed over her seeing him like this, she tilted her head to him questionably as he knelt down on the bedside beside with her. "The Clint Eastwood thing is really getting to your head," She mused and motioned over to the holster, "Besides, I thought you weren't gonna even be going on a showdown with Tannen considering we'll be gone by then? Or at least that's what you said."
He laughed this off to lean in to sneak a kiss. "Well it doesn't hurt to be prepared for anything. You never know." Watching him leave to get dressed, she realized this was entirely a ploy and he wholeheartedly believed he was gonna have to face Tannen. Trying not to let the worry set in all at once, she began to dress herself as the two of them headed out into town.
Looking down to Marty still wearing the holster, she cocked a brow to him. Viewing the outfit he was wearing in the mirror, he only gave her a confused look over her reaction. "Thought you liked this on me?"
"The outfit, not the gun," Seeing Doc's bed was still nicely made, she laughed under her breath over where he might be. "You didn't see him before I woke up, did you?"
He shook his head to begin to think distastefully over the matter. "No, which only has me hope that he knows what the hell he's doing."
Amanda rolled her eyes over his words, locking the shop doors behind her on the way out. "You're one to talk." Shaking him briefly from the gun holster in amusement, Marty adjusted it again quickly. "At this rate you're practically begging for someone to shoot you down and it's scaring the hell out of me."
"Amy really, it's part of the time period. I'm just—" He shrugged his shoulders with a grin without admitting to her directly that the outfit did boost his moral. "Being inconspicuous." Still thinking this wasn't true and him acting this way was completely idiotic, Amanda decided to avoid the fight from escalating any further.
"Say, good morning Mr. Eastwood," A man came up to him to say as the pair continued walking.
She looked to him confused as the man passed by them with Marty greeting him in return. "Have a cigar, Mr. Eastwood," A man came up suddenly to hand a cigar to him and walked on his other side, "Anything I can do for you today, Mr. Eastwood?"
Not understanding why he was the center of attention, he tried to go along with it as best he could. "Good luck tomorrow, Mr. Eastwood! We'll be prayin' for ya!" The men on the carriage passing by called out to him.
"God knows I will for once," Amanda muttered under her breath.
Another man in a dark suit came up to them as well to peak his interest over to Marty beside her. "Good morning, Mr. Eastwood. Interest you in a new suit for tomorrow?"
