MARTY, DOC, AND AMANDA now stood in front of the mayor announcing the placement of the new clock that would be placed onto the courthouse once construction was completed.
"God how many more iterations of the damn thing am I going to see?" Amanda thought over staring at the piece distracted as opposed to listening to the speech.
"May it stand for all time," He yelled aloud to have her smile over the understatement of the clock's presence in town.
Doc turned back over to them once the commemorative celebration was over for the new clock. "You know kids, in a way it's fitting all of us are here to witness this."
"It's too bad I didn't bring my camera," Amanda mentioned and pouted over the simplicities back home she hoped to return to soon.
Looking towards the sound of an older film camera going off, the three exchanged a collective, knowing exchange to one another. Possibly being the only moment all of them were on the same page at the exact same time. Standing before the large clock, Amanda smiled to herself with being nearby it in this decade. Marty gently wrapped his hand along her waist to have her lean into him while Doc stood on the opposite side. "The only problem is we'll never be able to show it to anybody."
"Smile Doc," Marty told him instead to shoot down his attitude while the three turned to the camera man to pose for the photo. The uptempo country music was now blaring on the stage that was set up in front of the courthouse construction sight for the event. Standing off to the side with the others, she looked around to the various people dancing to the music in delight.
Doc bouncing slightly to the beat and motioned over to the band on stage in delight. "What great music."
Marty smiled over this to lean against the pole behind them. Being used to something written by Elvis Costello or Van Halen, the genre of music was different than his usual taste. "Yeah. It's got a beat and you can dance to it."
Leaning into him as he said this, Amanda attempted to taunt him in regards to the phrase. "More like everyone who doesn't have two left feet could dance to this." He rolled his eyes over the jab made about him to instead look her over. The white dress made her appear more innocent than she let off to be, but naturally fit into the atmosphere that was around them. Regardless her gaze to him made his heart flutter in admiration. Only confused over the dreamy look in Marty's eyes, she knit her brows together confused. "What?"
"I have two left feet and you're a terrible singer. It's a perfect match," Marty said finally to have her huff over the return before. leaning forward to kiss him. The coupe was interrupted by a man trying to gain their attention instead, Amanda laughing over Marty groaning over this.
"Step right up, gentleman, and test your mettle with the latest products, from Colonel Samuel Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company of Hartford, Connecticut-" The pair now faced the dealer giving an explanation on the gun, hyping it up before everyone to attempt to have one of them buy it.
Seeing the model set up, it seemed a bit too familiar by the look of it from Marty's perspective. Watching the man continue to passionately explain how easy and cheap the gun was to use, Amanda couldn't help to laugh over this and turned back over to get Doc's attention to the man too. Noticing he had left and was now linking arms with Clara caused her me to look over to them in surprise.
"Young man, how 'bout you? You want to give it a try?" The man now called out Marty beside her to have him brush this off and turn back over to Amanda instead.
