Chapter 11

The three of us go in the classroom together and since the monster whose name I won't say, is not here, our colleagues start asking us questions "Todoroki are you really engaged to her?"

"No I'm not" Shoto sounds annoyed but he still answers everyone's questions.

"Who is she?" Mina asks.

"We don't know, none of us knew her" I answer.

"I know who she is" all eyes are on Aoyama "She is the daughter of the number 14 hero" everyone is still silent "What? How could you not know? She shines like me!"

How does he dare to compliment her?! I want to yell at him but unfortunately the devil arrives in that precise moment "Aoyama thank you so much!" she goes to his side and kisses his cheek, which makes Mineta angry that he wasn't in Aoyama's place "I'm glad you're by my side, let's shine together!" she keeps smiling at him and makes me wanna throw up.

I just decide to ignore and go to my seat, I can see Shoto following me and the devil stopping him with her filthy hand. As much as I want to just yell at her to stop touching him, I don't really have that power, I'm not his girlfriend. So instead, I take a deepbreath and sit down looking out the window.

"Let go of me" I hear Shoto tell her, he tries to get free from her grasp, but she doesn't let him.

"Darling, didn't Endeavor tell you? You'll be my husband by the end of next week" she smirks and it's making me wanna break her neck right now!

"He doesn't have a say in my life, and neither do you. Just do yourself a favour and leave us all alone" he tries again to break free from her grasp and this time succeeds and goes back to his seat.

Everyone is just silently watching everything unfold and my anger just keeps rising as soon as she reaches my desk and starts yelling at me "Look what you've done! He is rejecting me because of you!"

I do my best to remain civilized as I answer her "Have you ever thought that maybe it's your fault and not mine?"

"Why would it be my fault? I'm amazing, anyone would want to be my husband!!" she yells "If you care about him at all, you'll let him go, he is meant for great things and Endeavor decided that I'm the right woman for him to have by his side" she calms down and smirks "You don't want to keep him from greatness, do you?"

That evil smile gets on my nerves, I just want to punch her in that stupid face and make her shut up for good, but I can't "He gets to decide what he wants, not his father and most definitely not you" that's all I allow myself to say before facing away from her again.

"We shall see about that, I won't lose to you" I hear her say as she walks away.

I don't know what to do about this whole situation, if Endeavor is the one that wants her to marry Shoto, he can surely make that happen, he is his father after all, there is nothing I can do to stop it. I find myself sighing and sadness growing inside me, for the first time since Emilia showed up, I'm actually thinking deeply about this, I'm going to lose him, aren't I?

I thought that at some point in the future, we would be together, he said he just needed some time, I was willing to wait, but our time is running out and he'll be forced to marry someone else. I guess I can't really say that I'm surprised, considering his background and who his father is, I just had hope that everything was going to work out, but now I'm not so sure anymore.

I don't know for how long I was lost in thought, but next thing I notice, is Aizawa sensei coming inside the classroom. The devil didn't mess with me for the rest of the day and I was able to get through it almost normally, but just her presence reminds me of what I'm losing and I hate it.
