Chapter 12

SHOTO'S POV

After walking hand in hand with Y/n for a while, we reach her house, I've never been here before but she has gone to my house a few times already, I'm kind of nervous now that I'll be meeting her parents soon.

"Hey are you okay?" she asks me as she sees me standing still at the entrance.

"Yea of course!" did she feel like this when she met my dad?

I go inside her house and get even more nervous, I know her parents aren't here yet but they'll be here soon, I hope they'll see me as Shoto and not as a Todoroki. I start looking around the beautiful house, it's actually very relaxing and I feel myself calm down.

Y/n smiles at me and I smile back at her "You can take off your jacket and I'll leave it in my room" I do as she says and take off the jacket then give it to her, it's actually really warm here "I'm going to my bedroom and change but I'll be right down okay?" she says as she hugs my jacket.

That small action makes me laugh "Take your time, I'm not going anywhere" she smiles and starts going up the stairs.

I start to look around as I wait for her to return, this house is a lot better than mine, it's a lot more lovely and family like. I then start smiling like an idiot when I notice some pictures, I glance at all of them but my eyes stop on the pictures that Y/n is in.

There are baby pictures of her and her brother, I can't believe Katsuki was cute when he was little, I find myself chuckling as I see pictures of them hugging each other and smiling at the camera. My parents never took pictures of us, is this a normal thing parents do?

I put down the picture I was holding and another one caught my eye, this one is much more recent, it's Y/n and Katsuki in their old school's uniform, her hair was still blonde in this picture, you can really tell they are twins. I wonder how it would feel, to be able to have your memories in pictures, you can keep reliving the moment just by looking at it. Y/n's parents seem like great people and I'm really glad she had a normal childhood.

"There you are!" I hear her sweet voice call for me and I put down the picture and show her a smile.

"Found some great pictures of you" I tell her but her face goes bright red right away, adorable.

"Noo I look so ugly in pictures!" she hides her face between her hands but I force her to look at me.

"You're always beautiful in my eyes" she blushes even more, she just rests her head on my shoulder and closes her eyes as she smiles "Do all parents take pictures of their kids or is it just your parents?" I use this opportunity to ask her.

"I don't think all parents do it but most of them do yea" she suddenly looks up at me and smiles even more "Do you have baby pictures too?? Oh my God I'm sure baby Shoto was terribly cute!!"

I give her a sad smile and answer "Sorry, I don't have any, guess my parents never really cared that much" her smile disappears and I start feeling bad.

She quickly grabs her phone from her pocket, turns the camera on and holds me in a hug as she points the camera at us "Your first picture will be with me then!" she shows me a new smile and I nod at her. So we'll always be able to relive this moment when we look at that picture huh, well in that case there is something I want to do "Show me a smile Ice Prince!"

She turns to look at the camera and I hold her closer in my arms, and right as she is taking the picture I kiss her cheek, she looked surprised and it made me laugh. I take the phone from her and quickly send myself the picture she just took, when she looks at the picture she demands a new one because she says she looks like an idiot.
