Chapter 25

I get back inside the house and head for my bedroom but before I get in, Kacchan calls me to his bedroom, I get in and he closes the door behind me "We need to talk" he says.

"What is it?" I ask trying to not sound scared.

"I know you and Icy Hot are having fun" the way he mentioned that last word, tells me that he knows exactly what Shoto and I did when we were alone.

"Oh..?" I can't even form a normal sentence anymore.

"What the hell are you thinking Y/n?! Do you want mom and dad to find out?! You gotta be more careful with these things, I can't always be there to cover for you!" my eyes widen at his words, I thought he was mad because of what Shoto and I did, but apparently he is mad that I was almost caught?

"I don't understand" I sit beside him on the bed as I'm feeling super confused.

"I told you before, don't make me say it again!!" he is annoyed but he does explain after a long sigh "I told you that I'd trust anyone who loves you as much as I do, whatever you guys do is up to you, as long as you're happy then I won't get between you 2! Just be careful, dad still sees you as his little baby, I'm pretty sure he'd be furious if he finds out about it."

I look at my brother and smile "Thanks Katsuki, for always having my back, I've always said you're the best brother ever!"

I can almost say that I saw him smile a little but he goes back to normal right away "Are you sure I'm such a good brother? Icy Hot said I should help you with everything, I got mad at the time because he talked back at me but then I started thinking. Am I a good brother?"

"You're a great brother Kacchan! Nobody is perfect but you're the best brother I could ever hope for, yes you yell and get angry too much but that's all part of your charm. I'm never bored or sad when you're around" I get closer to him to hug him but I do it slowly so I don't anger him.

I'm afraid that he'll push me away and go back to his normal self and start yelling, so I just rest my forehead on his shoulder "You're so dumb" he says and it makes me chuckle "Why are you so afraid to hug me? You're my sister, I wouldn't kill you because of it" he pulls me into his arms and wraps them around my back. I smile and feel incredibly happy that my brother also has sweet moments, even though they are rare "Don't get used to this, this kind of thing only happens once a year!"

I keep giggling as I feel completely safe with him "I know, so let me enjoy this while it lasts" we keep hugging for a while longer until he has enough of it and I stand up to leave his bedroom.

As I'm grabbing the door knob, he calls for me "Hey sis" I look back at him "I'll never admit that I ever said this BUT, I am glad you and Icy Hot are together, you're good for each other, just thought I should let you know that, I don't want you to think I'm just a jerk of a brother, I care about you a lot and that will never change."

I almost feel like crying for hearing my brother talk like this "I know brother, thank you!"

He smiles for a slit second "Alright enough with the sweet shit!! Go sleep red riding hood!!" he starts yelling again and I laugh out loud as I leave his bedroom.

SHOTO'S POV

I am about to leave home in the morning to go to UA when I get a text from Y/n saying she is sick and that she won't be going to school today, I am sad that for the first time ever, I won't have her by my side in class. I text her back saying I'll go check on her after school ends and then start walking to UA.

As I get there, I see her brother walking through the entrance and I run up to catch him "Kacchan!" he looks back at me and rolls his eyes.

"What do you want Icy Hot?!" he asks as he keeps walking not even bothering to wait for me.
