It's been weeks now ava tried to talk to Benji, but he refused to speak to her. Today she decided to visit him at his house after work to explain everything. I mean she should have, explained that to him in the first place. Why was she even nervous when he called? She knew that he likes her, but in the back of her head, something tells her no he is just her best friend. Sigh, she is just hoping he can understand. Currently, she is in the head paediatrician office cleaning and doing what she is supposed to.

5 pm

She is now finally off from work and heading straight to Benjamin. She waited for the next bus to arrived and hop on. A couple of minutes later, she was at her destination. She walked up to the front door and rang the bell. Waiting for someone to answer, but no one did. She rang it twice again and then he answered the door. He held the door and looked at her with so much hate; she couldn't even look back. "What do you want?" He asked.

"Um, Benji am sorry I never knew you--------well, I didn't believe you liked me. I never meant for what happened the other day. Please, I am sorry best friend, " she said.

"You could have said something ava. So I won't force myself to open up to you and to let my feelings out. Now am hurt by it."

"I know, but for some weird reason I was scared to tell you."

"Look ava you already fucked around with my feelings and when people do that I push them away so they won't get the chance to do it again so goodbye, " he said closing the door, but she pushed it back.

"I never meant for it to happen Benji. You never said anything to me that you liked me. You approached me to be your best friend."

"Ava it was obvious I had feelings for you." Wow had.

"Look I ain't go explain myself any further okay it's not like I fucked him."

"Wait wait. Do you ever had sex with your boyfriend," he asked.

"No dummy we just start dating come on really."

"But why didn't you just say something ava."

"I was scared. I was thinking of how you would feel about me dating a guy. Knowing you, you're selfish at times. But at the same time, I want to tell you, but I didn't know how you would react."

"I promise, " she said, smiling from ear to ear. They hugged for the first time in a very long time.

Five months later

It's eleven months now ava has known Benji for and her boyfriend for only five months. Benji still doesn't like the idea of her dating the other guy but he gots to be happy for his best friend. Today ava decided to have a wonderful day with her boyfriend. He then calls her.

Ava:😍❤🐻: nothing but I was thinking that we could hang out at the water park later.

Hubby:🥰❤🐻: Ummm okay I will check my schedule-----------------------bae I can't because I have somewhere to be with my mom.

He lied about that

Ava:😍❤🐻: "Oh, okay. She said, sounding a lil disappointed." She then hangs up the call and went to her kitchen to make a smoothie. A couple of hours later, she received a message from her boyfriend. She had a bad vibe about it but still opened it. It was a video but not just any video. He is with another girl having sex in the video and calling her baby, and the girl was Patricia another ex-coworker at the cafe. He was all over her he doesn't have any excuse to this because first, he lied about his mom then sent this video and he wasn't drunk. She felt so angry and at the same time, don't care and care about the situation. Benji walked in the house and search of her and found her in the kitchen standing still.

"Hey, are you okay?"

She didn't reply, but he picked up the phone and look at the screen. He immediately hugged her.

"Hey, it's okay. I got you. Why would he send that? What happened?"

"He called earlier, and I asked him if he wanted to spend the day with me he told me had to be somewhere with his mom now he sends a video fucking this bitch."

He could relate to that and could understand what she is feeling. So he decided to stay the night to keep her happy.
