"I---------------Benji, what are you doing?"

"Shit I knew I shouldn't have said anything," he mumbled.

"Look Benji-----------" she got up and ran off. What?! Really. Sigh, now he starts to regret mentioning his feelings to her. Now he thinks she hates him.

Two weeks later.

Up until now, she hasn't said anything to him whether she wants to be with him or not. She sat on the couch, waiting for her mom to come down the stairs to go to church. "You, looking fine ma', " she said to her.

"You're not so bad yourself sweety."

On their way to church, she heard someone calling her from behind.

"Ava!" She turned around, and it was Benjamin. He ran up to her.

"Hey, what's up? Oh, hi, Ava's mom."

"Hey son, um sweety when you finish talking you come in inside, " she said, leaving the two alone.

"Hey I'm sorry about the other day, I shouldn't have let my feelings get the best of me."

"Look Benji now is not the time, I have Sunday school to get to if you want to come it would be great."

"Um, ava you know I ain't no--------"

"Shut up and come on."

"Look if they start shouting amo come out."

"Don't worry when it reaches that point I always leave, " they laughed.

At first, it was awkward for Benji, but he got the hang if praising, he was clapping like a mad man. He looks ridiculous😄.

The church was fun, and now everyone is heading home. But, Ava and Benji just wondering around the churchyard talking.

"Look, Benji, I like you, but I don't want anything that happens in the relationship ruin our friendship. "

"I understand what you're saying, but, I am willing to do anything for you. This, what you, seeing, is not me. I am not like this, and this feels, weird and I am trying not to open up to you but something about you I can't help about."

"Sigh. So what now? Are we together?"

"Only if you answer and agree to be mine, " he said, placing his forehead on hers causing no space between them.

"Yes, I will, " she said, smiling. Then he slowly kissed, her but then her mom interrupts😄🙄.

"Ava!, what are you doing in Jesus' name? Boy, take your ugly ass lips off my daughter. You let him kiss you ---"

"Mom! I am okay, calm down, this is my boyfriend."

"Boyfriend? Lil girl, don't you got books to read or something you over there talking about a boyfriend. Get ya black ass over here." Ava heard a snigger from Benji. She hits him in the gut causing him to say 'uh' between giggles. They left and went home to have dinner.
