"Are you ever going to forgive your parents, Benjamin?" Ava's mom asked.

"Well you see, miss, that would be very hard, but I am trying to find it. They hurt me all my life because I didn't know."

"Well son I am not telling you to forgive them immediately, things take time. But you have to forgive them but not asking you to forget."

~Skipping out the months~

Two years have past and, now the most exciting thing a woman, well most woman could ever dream of is about to happen. The action has to be put, in place. Benji told Ava to meet him at a fancy Italian restaurant in town. She was confused by the sudden invitation. You know the feeling you get when something is going to happen, and you can't tell whether it will be good or bad. Yeah, that's the feeling she is having. She has about two and a half hours to reach the spot. So, knowing how she is when it comes on to getting dressed. She did everything early. So by the time, it reached an hour she would leave and approached the restaurant on time. The cab dropped her off, and as she slowly walked to the entrance, there was uneasiness in the pit of her stomach, which starts to rise as her palms started to sweat.

It's not like she hasn't gone out with him before but this night is just something else.

It went well so far just eating grilled lobster and vegetable salad until some serious love songs start to hit her ears.

"Hey, I like this jam, " she said, rocking to Jeremih remember me. Benji smiled at her while she was having fun. Then the room went pitch black out of nowhere. Ava started to panic like who wouldn't. She wants to leave, but how? the room light is out. 'Ah-ha,' she mentally said. She remembered she has her phone and can use the flashlight to exit the room but guess what? It is nowhere. She groaned in frustration. The light is out Benji is nowhere to be found, and she can't leave. Then something happened. Something so cute. You know those light-up flies, they were all over the room and formed a heart. ( well trained I guess🤭) The light was on now but dimed. Then a group of people came to the centre and started signing Shawn Mendez nothing is holding me back. It was amazing she, even started crying. After they were done they left. She turned around in her seat to see Benji slowly going on his knees. Her hands flew to her mouth in shock.

"What are u doing ?" She asked.

He just simply started talking.

Growing up, my life was horrible. I hardly received love from those who should love me. Persons always hurt me no matter how I show them a kind heart. So I isolate myself from females and voe to myself that I will never love again and there won't be anyone to love me. But I was completely wrong. The day I first saw you, ion know but, something just, I couldn't understand, and whatever it was it wanted to get closer to you. Then I remember how broken I am. You wouldn't want me so, I started acting harshly towards you at first. But your kind heart changed that in just days. When you told me about your ex I was so upset, I wanted you, to matter or fact I needed you, and something tells me to forgive you or, else I will still be who I was before. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't know what my parents are up to, and I respect you for that but what am trying to say is that you've healed my Ava. You healed a man who's ( tears start to form) days are mostly rainy full of pain and tears were in my heart. You healed me from the scars. Most of all you healed me from my parents. You showed me the love of a best friend(tears falling) good girlfriend, a mother like a figure, and as a wife to be. So tonight I decided that it is time I'm making you mine and am here to ask you this one question

Will you please be my wife? ( long pause) you are such a blessing to me( crying hard) this might sound like something you hear often, but I really can't do without you.

(Tears in both of their eyes) of course Benji you have been there for me and your such a good, hot, sexy man ( she said in between laughs. )

Oh my gosh yes ( twerking). Today is the day their lives changed from the pain to the best days of their lives.
