Jessie's POV

Tonight is the night for the most waited part of my life, I will be attending the biggest ceremony in my whole life. Partying is not my thing but tonight makes different, actually I am too excited to even notice my mother leaning against my doorway.

'Hey' she said while staring at the reflection on my mirror, I just smiled.
'Whatever happens tonight please always remember that your father and I will always be at your side, and whatever your plans to make we will support you no matter what, until the day we could no longer breathe, okay?' Mother said as she was fixing my tie.
'Mother what are you saying? Its like I will go somewhere else without you guys?' I smiled sadly and felt like something will actually happen tonight. For that I only received a hug from her squeezing me lightly before tapping my right shoulder and said 'shall we go now?' I just nod.

Checking myself for the last time in my body length size mirror before walking out to join my parent and headed to our destination. As we drove off, my mind wanders to the man from the other day, what happened to him after leaving him in that street? Is he okay? I should have confronted him that day instead of leaving, but my instinct to run away took over before thinking straight.

I didn't noticed that we've reach to the venue until my mother knock at the window shield at my side. I got out from the car and headed for the entrance with my family by my side.

As we've got inside, indeed all the people in this village are in there even some of the student that I have known in our school are also here, chatting with their friends and companions while me on the other side I did not utter even a single word. When I was about to sit every single eyes were set upon me, I felt goosebumps under their hot gazes. I took a sit and played with my fingers, its a habit when I get nervous.

I felt relieved when they decided to turn their attentions away from me. I heave a sigh as I did not even notice that I was holding my breath.

The ceremony got started, as the lovely song plays wonderfully at the background. Some started to gather at the dance floor, I tell my mother that I will just go to the restroom and I only got a nod from her. I struggle to get through to a bunch of people before I successfully did it and when it is only a steps away there's a man standing before me with his deep oceanic eyes pleading silently.

And my heart skip a beat.
