Jessie's POV

Lying on my bed while thinking of what may happen next, what if they already knew about our relationship? And thought that I flirted with their Alpha and just wanted the title of being their Luna, I don't think I can handle with it properly.

I know nothing about their kind, I only know one thing and that is they can be dangerous at some point.

Lorcan might loved me, but what about his pack? He's not always by my side to save me if ever something bad will happens.

I didn't know what to think anymore, I loved him but our fate pulls us on different paths. To think that I am totally human makes it more difficult for the both of us.

I am tired of running, hiding even changing names, all of it was way too tiring. Now that I actually used my real name I wanted to be the real me too.

Is it just a wishful thinking to be with the person I only wanted to loved until the day I could no longer breath?

My parent might strong but I know they were tired too.

Because of me everyone will suffer and now Lorcan will suffer too.

I didn't notice the tears that falls to my cheeks, and just like that I have fall asleep with a heavy heart.

Making my way to the school makes my heart pump harder and way too fast for my liking. I think I will collapse anytime soon.

Every gazes I've met makes me believed that they now knew about me and Lorcan.

Scared is an understatement, I wanted to run and hide and away from all the gazes.

Some of them look at me in disgust but most boys look at me with unreadable expression instead of their lustful gazes like before.

I must accept my fate, I made it myself, because of my reckless decision it brings me to this situation.

'Hi'

A deep baritone voice suddenly but effectively brings me out of my reverie.

I looked at him with a furrowed eyebrow.

'Oh sorry to interrupt, but what were a beauty like you doing in this secluded place all by yourself?' He smiled almost genuinely, but I rather believe the other reason.

'Oh I-I… I need to go' with wide eyes I scrambled to my feet and ready to run but he was way too fast to grab my wrist.

'Why's the rush?'

I couldn't think properly, all I wanted to be there is my Alpha.

'Lorcan' that's the only name I can think of.

Suddenly a loud growl erupted on the hallway, and when I glance at the direction of that animalistic growling, there stood my Alpha with all his glory.
