finn was never one to judge one for their looks, but y/n was absolutely gorgeous. she had absolutely no flaws in his eyes and she was quiet. the day he asked her out, she freaked out and said yes.
every since that day, y/n got more whinier and clingy, something finn was uncomfortable with sometimes. she would whine for his attention while they laid in bed and finn would lose his patience, snapping at her and leaving the room.
"cut the girl loose." caleb shrugged.
"i-" finn paused to run his hands in his hair, "it's just like the rain and the thunder follows her around everywhere."
caleb chugged the remainder of his pepsi, "you got the power. what are you? a coward? c'mon, finn. who are you helping?"
and a month later she stood at his doorway with her bags and her feelings, dropped at her feet. she felt no love for him anymore.
finn wondered about why it took so long for her to do it, to walk out. he was so distant.
ever since the day he met her, he knew she was the girl of his dreams, but they could never be.
