line without a hook by ricky montgomery
requested by @clown_topiafinn was never really a touchy person, most of the time just tearing away from human contact or not exchanging words like a touchy person would.
but y/n saw past it; she saw the soft inside of him and she managed to wrap him around her little finger.
even if he was whipped, finn was still never a big pda fan and only ever held hands with y/n in public. behind closed doors was another story, where she could do or touch him however she pleased and he wouldn't care if no one was home.
and when he was away in a business trip, his mind always wondered off to y/n; did she like it when he's away? if he went and hurt his body, would she live him the same?
finn would feel homesick whenever he was without y/n, without her hand around his or her arms wrapped around his neck. all of the emotions in him made him feel like an ocean while she was more like a pond and the only way to drain it was when she was near him, clinging to him.
he was a wreck without her, constantly checking his phone for her texts or fiddling with the ring she gave him in his birthday. even if he wouldn't admit it, he needed her to stay with him. the boy couldn't forgive himself when he found her crying by the lake.
was it something he said that made her
feel like a burden?finn felt like he didn't deserve y/n, him being cold and distant and her being bubbly and sociable.
a tiny dancer skin in his head, singing-she's a- she's a lady,
and i am just a boy,she's a- she's a lady,
and i am just a line
without a hook.
