"Lunch time every!" Miss Peregrine announced to us. Her voice carrying like the songs of swallows."
I got up from my seated spot, the sun's rays shining down on me knowing that it's that time. Lunchtime. Everyone's rushing inside to hopefully not have their seat taking while I'm just taking my time wanting everyone to have first picked before I sit down.
Walking into the room the smell of fresh cooked carrots hit my nose, Brussels sprouts, with potato and a fresh cup of orange juice to complete the meal. Looking around the table I could see that most spots were already taken up but still a few remained unseated in, so I took the one where it was the furthest away.
Everyone was excited for this afternoon. All were talking about their plans. Horace going on to Millard about his fashion choices and why he should be wearing more updated clothing attire. Horace I think thought that Millard was still listening to what he had to say, but I think that he was more focused on the food on his plate than him anything else.
The Twins had two straws coming out of one glass of orange juice. Both had the straws crossing over eachother, so they went in their mouths. Quite a strange look I might say. The two little girls Fiona and Claire were both having the time of their life giggling about something one of them said.
Glancing around where everyone else was seated, I could see that they were all enjoying themselves, but me on the other hand I hadn't touched my meal. I only mixed it around my plate. Bringing my carrots to one side of the plate and Brussels sprouts to the other while leaving my potatoes all alone. I was quite hungry due to the fact I hadn't eaten in hours, normally with food like this I wouldn't be picky but today I wasn't feeling right. Well as right as I would like to be. Before I could move my food around for another time, Miss Peregrine made an announcement making all of us look up and listen to what she had to say.
“Children listen up. I have some good news to do with this afternoons activity. I've planned something special to honor Josephine's arrival. After lunch, we are all going to have an outing to the seaside, so finish up as fast as you can because the sooner we leave the more time we can stay there.”
With this afternoons exciting event underway everyone got up from their seats. Running away down the hallway to their bedrooms to get ready. While leaving behind, half finished meals an uncleaned table and chairs not being put back to their proper place. Miss Peregrine noticing that everyone had rushed off with only her, Enoch and myself still sitting at the table.
I glanced up over to the other end of the table to see that Enoch was still in eating his food in a polite manner, he had finished everything he had on his plate with only half a cup of orange juice on the side.

Just a quick A/N from me! So WattPad updated and it got me quite confused with the whole layout of the chapters. I can't aline/bold/italics my words any longer (if there is a way then I don't know how to do it) so from now on my chapters are going to have to look like this from now on (I don't like it that much) but I'm going to have to deal with it. But thanks for reading! I'm super happy at how this turned out. Enjoy your day/night!
