Happy New years to me.

We were all sitting outside next to the bonfire my dad started as we all got ready for the count down.
"How long now, Nino?" I asked
"About 20 minutes."
"Why is it so cold around this time?" Mark asked as she rubbed her arms trying to gain warmth.
"No clue. I am toasty though."
"Yeah. Your face is such a good heater."
"Adrien I've told you. Your hands are too cold." I told.
"You still love me and my cold hands. Especially on your warm face."
"Your lucky your cute."
"How warm is your face (y/n)?" Alya asked.
"Like your sitting next to a heater." Adrien said as he sighed happily.
Alya got up and sat next to me making me confused.
"What are you....." I was cut off from her placing a hand on my cheek and instantly getting excited from the discovery.
"Omg it really is like a heater!" She exclaimed.
Mari and Nino rushed over to copy their actions.
'Great. I'm now the personal heater for my friends. How fun.'

~ 1 minute to midnight ~

We were still relaxing out side when my family came out to stand with us.
"Ok we have ten minutes till midnight."
I looked over at Alya and she did the same. I gave a small nod and she returned it.
"Seven." My family and the others began to chant.
'This is it. This is when everything is revealed to the others.'
"Six."
'The new year will not start off great.'
"Five."
'It won't be pretty I know that."
"Four."
'This is going to be the year.'
"Three."
My hand was grabbed and I looked over to Adrien.
"You ok babe?"
"Two!"
"Yeah."
'The year we defeat Hawkmoth.'
"One!"
We looked up at the sky to see all the fireworks going off.
"Come be my New Years kiss babe!"
"Bill I will punch you!" My dad told as he began to run from my uncle.
"Just a peck! Babe come back we are meant to be in love!" He jokes running after him into the house.
My brother and sister made their way in leaving us alone in the yard. I opened my mouth to say something when a large cloud of purple butterflies flew over head making us all look at one another.
"New year but same Hawkmoth." I told.
"Why did you stop calling him Hawkdaddy babe?"
"Well about that....."
"No time for that now we gotta defeat him." Nino told as I quickly went in to tell them we were going for a small walk to see some other fireworks near the Eiffel Tower.
We began to rush to master fu so we will be able to get Alya and Ninos miraculous.
