Chapter 10

"What is he doing here" Isabella asked Max,while inclining her head in Jeremy's direction.

"I didn't have much of a choice in it" Max muttered.

"OK it's fine I'll handle it" Isabella answered, ready taking charge of the situation ahead.

"Heyy Jeremy" Isabella greeted as she examined him up and down in distaste.

"Princess" Jeremy greeted curtly,his eyes nkr meeting Isabella's for even a second.

"Princess" Crystal and Axel echoed. Isabella mentally smacked herself,she had forgotten all about them.

Ignoring them Isabella looked up at Jeremy who was towering over her "You have a lot of nerve coming back to Fantastacia" she snapped at him.

Jeremy looked taken aback clearly not anticipating this change of mood, but he quickly recovered "Excuse me, but what do you mean?" he asked her.

"Don't act dumb" Isabella said narrowing her eyes at him "you know I'm talking about your banishment" she said.

At the same time everyone including Jeremy burst out "what?".

But instead of denying it Jeremy asked " how do you know about it?".

Isabella opened her mouth to answer but Max asked "what are you'll even talking about?"

Isabella gave Max a look that said 'Shut up' and then turned back to face Jeremy.

"I'm the princess and even though my mother does not tell me anything in definitely not deaf" Isabella said with a hint of anger showing in her voice, which was very unlike her but almost everything she was doing now was very unlike her.

Olivia placed her hand on Isabella's shoulder "I think you should take a deep breath and maybe explain to us what is going on" she suggested.

Isabella took a deep breath, taking Olivia's advice "let's go to the beach and I'll explain" she said and turned to Max "keep an eye on Jeremy" she ordered him and gave him a another look saying 'please trust me on this'.

Max nodded slowly as all six of them made their way to  the beach. Once everyone was sitting on the benches Isabella went and stood in front of them.

"First Alex and Crystal I'm princess Isabella crown Princess to the kingdom of Fantastacia" Isabella announced. While the two involved just looked at her with dumbstruck expression and looking extremely guilty. Axel was the first to recover but he just gave her a nod to carry on talking.

"Second, " this time Isabella looked at Olivia and Max "while everyone was told that Jeremy was on a mission in another kingdom he was actually banished from Fantastacia but he begged the queen not to tell anyone so she kept it a secret" Isabella finished taking in her friends expressions. Olivia was opening and closing her mouth with shock and Max had an unreadable expression on his face.

"B-but h-how?" Olivia asked her voice shaking slightly.

"I don't really know that" Isabella answered "but I'm absolutely sure that Jeremy is most definitely not innocent".

Jeremy started clapping slowly "Well done princess" he hissed "first you want to be an adventurer and now a detective,how nice!".

Before Isabella could even answer that, Max slapped Jeremy on his cheek, hard. " Even though you may no longer be a citizen in this kingdom, Princess Isabella is still more superior over you and you will show respect to her" Max told Jeremy, his voice cold.

Isabella turned to look at Crystal and Axel again "Oh and I forgot to mention, Max is my bodyguard and best friend".

As Isabella turned back to face  Max and Jeremy, Jeremy laughed " It's funny how you think I'm the bad one here".

"What do you mean?" Isabella asked frowning at him.

"Just that your bodyguard could ruin the entire magicals world's existence and here you are blaming me and trusting him with your life" Jeremy answered with a shrug.

"He can ruin the entire magical world?how?" Olivia asked, suddenly interested in their conversation.

Jeremy smiled slyly and looked at Max "why don't you tell them?" He asked.

"I don't know what you even talking about" Max protested.

"You sure?" Jeremy asked raising an eyebrow at Max.

Instead of answering Jeremy, Max turned to look at Isabella "Please don't tell me you actually believe him?".

"no of course not" Isabella answered, but there was a hint of doubt in it.

"You done with your lies now?" Max asked Jeremy.

"I'm stating facts but sure I'm done" was the reply.

"Good because I have something for you to do" Isabella answered.

"Uh-huh...and what is that?" Jeremy asked.

Max turned to look at Isabella a questioning look in his eyes but she ignored him,all her attention on Jeremy.

"You will leave Fantastacia immediately and go to the Loapsidian mountains and find the mountain people of Loapsidia. They ask you any questions you will lie. And make sure that I never ever see your face in my kingdom again" she told him, her gaze never wavering from his.

"Fine" Jeremy answered and got up slowly.

"Really?" Crystal asked,looking at him with a confused expression.

But before anyone could answer, Jeremy bent down, his face directly in front of Isabella's.

"But beware your Majesty that I will have my revenge and that no one will stop me" and then he walked away quickly leaving everyone in shocked silence with the ominous threat hanging in the air.
