Memories?...flashbacks?..dreams?..nightmares?...wishes?...fantasies?...hallucinations?.. what were they?

A palace...a crown...a prince...a princess...an execution...and a dangerous power…

An ocean...a male mermaid…a tsunami…massive destruction…and a dangerous power…

The clouds...a male fairy...a tornado… a destroyed kingdom...and a dangerous power…

A cave...a wizard...a potion...a poison...a death...and a dangerous power…

Max and Isabella running through the palace...a fairy visiting the queen...electric sparks...and a dangerous power…

Max shot up from the ground so fast he almost knocked his head into the aquamarine eyes girl, who had been leaning over him her eyes filled with worry and concerns etched all over her pretty features.

"Uh, what happened?" Max asked and let out a groan as he felt his chest throb with pain.

"You jumped in front of me to save my life" Olivia choked out.

"Am I the only one wondering why he is still alive?" the turquoise eyes boy asked.

"I-" Max groaned again and clutched his chest in pain "I was wearing a sword proof vest" he finally answered.

"Oh...OK," the boy answered.

"We need to and rescue Isabella," Max said and stood up slowly.

"We coming with you," the girl said, her voice filled with determination.

"Excuse me? We don't even know you'll" Jeremy said crossing his arms over his chest.

"Well then let me tell you," Crystal said "My name is Crystal and he is Axel," she said pointing towards Axel who was giving her a death glare.

On hearing Axel's name Max's head shot up recognition flooding through his eyes, but Axel subtly shook his head from side to side warning Max not to say anything. Quickly Max covered up his surprise but there were still millions of questions flooding through his mind.

'Was that actually Axel?' 'Axel Lee?' 'His once best friend' 'But didn't Axel die?'...

"Just let them come with," Olivia said, snapping Max out of her thought's and rolling her eyes.

"Well unless both Isabella and the man became invisible, they are not here," Axel remarked looking around at the filthy and clearly empty alley with distaste.

"But they definitely came in here" Crystal protested.

"So they suddenly disappeared," Jeremy said dryly.

"Shut up!" Max exclaimed while trying his best not to let his voice become louder. "And look there's a hatch in the ground" he added, bending down to examine it.

"I'm going down," Max said suddenly and before anyone could protest he heaved the hatch open to reveal a pitch-black hole.

"If you think you going alone then you wrong," Olivia said and made her way to stand next to him.

"I'm also coming" Crystal piped up and Olivia groaned.

"And I'm not allowing Crystal to come alone so I guess in coming to, " Axel said earning himself another groan, this time from Jeremy.

"That leaves Jeremy to stay here and keep watch," Max said and his smile by proceeding into the hole and down the stairs.

Slowly and silently they all made their way down the stairs making sure not to make a noise. But at one point Crystal had tripped and crashed into Max but luckily she had managed to keep quiet and Max had made no comments.
