Chapter 3

This chapter starts where we left off...

Mrs Weasley came in and said "Dinner's ready"

Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Fred and George followed Molly downstairs.

Arthur was waiting in front of the kitchen door. When he saw Harry, he smiled. "Harry" He shook his hand. "Are you sure you're alright ? You gave us quite a scare with the Dementors"

But before Harry could answer, someone else spoke.

"Harry Potter"

Harry smiled big "Sirius"

They both hugged happily.

While they were hugging, James was slightly pacing. What if Harry doesn't like me ? He thought. What if he doesn't want me to be a part of his life ? James was as much excited as scared to see his son.

Remus seemed to notice James was nervous, because he said "James, calm down. He'll want you to be a part of his life. He's always hoped that you and Lily would wake up one day. So stop pacing"

James took a deep breath and calmed down "Yes, you're probably right"

Remus grinned "I'm always right"

James smacked him playfully on the arm. "Prat"

Sirius and Harry had stopped hugging by now, and were talking.

"So, how are you ?"

"I'm great, now that I'm here. What about you ?"

"Well... " Sirius said "I'm great too. Actually, there's something you might want to know"

"There's a lot of things I might want to know, so if you could be a little more precise, it would be great." Harry said.

Sirius laughed. "Right, well it happened a week ago. Dumbledore thought it would be better for you to see it in person, rather than read about it in a letter."

"O-kayyy" Harry said slowly, completely confused.

"And the thing you might want to know, is actually a person you might want to meet." Sirius stepped aside and revealed James, who was smiling now that he could see his son for the first time in 14 years.

Harry's eyes widened. "You're... awake ?"

James nodded.

Harry walked quickly to him and hugged him. James was shocked at how quickly he had accepted him, but he quickly hugged back.

Evryone was smiling at them. Mrs Weasley and Hermione were crying.

Harry and James both pulled back.

"Cool" was all Harry said, while smiling.

"Very cool indeed" James replied, also smiling.

"Told you he'd be happy" Remus said, grinning.

"Shut up, Moony"

"What ?" Harry said, confused.

"Well, you see, Harry" Remus said "dear James here was worried you wouldn't accept him in your life, and that you wouldn't want to see him awake."

Harry looked at James "Seriously ? And people told me you were smart..." He said, sighing, but obviously finding the whole situation funny.

Remus, Sirius, Fred, George, Ron, Ginny and Tonks bursted into laughter.

James laughed "Prat"

"So, are we going to eat ?" Ron asked.

Molly sighed. She seemed exasperated that her yougest son only thought about food. "Yes, Ronald, we're going to eat. But before we do so, I need some people to help me set up the table."
