Plot: Alex & Kara have a sister's night. During the night, Kara apologizes for shutting Alex out and being so distant, moody, argumentative, and cold to her.
Alex & Kara had their usual sister's night, but Alex knew that Kara wanted to get something off her chest. "Hey, are you o.k.?" Alex asked. "I'm sorry." Kara said. "For what?" Alex asked, a bit puzzled. "I hurt you." Kara replied. "What are you talking about?" Alex asked. "I was selfish, I've been moody, I've been argumentative, I've been distant, and I...I took my frustrations and emotions out on you. I...I'm sorry Alex." Kara said.
"Hey, I get it. You were in grieving. You lost someone who you care about; It never gets easier." Alex replied. "I know, but...I never should have taken it out on you." Kara said. "I know where you're coming from. I've done that before, remember?" Alex asked. "Yeah." Kara replied. "We say things we don't mean when we're angry, drunk, or even when we're in mourning or grief; We just find it easier to hurt the people we love. I'm not saying it's right to do, it's just something that happens." Alex explained. "I know, I just...I'm sorry." Kara said. "I know." Alex replied. "Are we gonna be o.k.?" Kara asked. "We're gonna be o.k." Alex replied. "We'll get through this together." Kara leaned on her sister's shoulder. "I love you." She said. "I love you too." Alex replied. The two then settled in to watch another episode of "Homeland" together.
Another short chapter, but I thought it was very touching. In the next chapter, Alex comforts Kara after she feels guilt about Livewire's death at the hands of Reign.
