Alex & Kara: Danvers Sisters 4 Ever!!

Chapter 5: Aftermath of Alex's Kidnapping

In the aftermath of Alex's kidnapping at the hands of Rick Malverne, Alex & Kara share a heartfelt conversation.

Alex and Kara had their usual sister's night, but Kara noticed Alex seemed distant, confused, and disinterested in their usual activities. "Are you feeling o.k. Alex?" Kara asked. "To be honest, I'm not." Alex said. Kara frowned, then walked over to where her sister was sitting on the couch. "Please talk to me." She said. "I can't." Alex said, beginning to tear up. "Please Alex, don't shut me out." Kara said. "I was so scared Kara. I thought I was going to die. I held on for as long as I could, but I legit thought that it was going to be the end for me. It wasn't until I saw you and Maggie there, that I knew I would be alright." Alex explained.

"It's o.k. to feel scared and vulnerable. We all feel that at some point; Remember when I was kidnapped by Cadmus?" Kara asked. "I'll never forget that; I was afraid I had lost you." Alex replied. "I was too. I was more afraid of what they were going to do to me. But more importantly, I thought I would never see you again." Kara stated. "When did you know you were going to be o.k.?" Alex asked. "I knew when I saw you. I knew that no matter how many times I'm in trouble, my sister would always be there to save me. You know I would do the same for you." Kara replied. Alex smiled warmly back at her sister. "That's what I love about you." Alex said. "Me too." Kara replied. "I just feel better when we're together." Alex said. "Same." Kara replied.

"Come on, let's watch "Homeland". Kara said. "Push play." Alex chuckled. Kara looked at Alex and said: "Alex?" "Yeah?" Alex replied. "I'm glad you're my sister." Kara said smiling. "Back at you." Alex said smiling back at her.

And that's the end of this chapter. I know it's short, but I felt there wasn't a whole lot to dwell on. They basically covered it in the end of the episode, I just felt there was a need for The Danvers Sisters to get their own kind of closure on the matter.

Anyways, in the next chapter, Alex comforts Kara after she sends Mon-El away following the Daxamites invasion of Earth.
