Chapter 3. My Love

~Cayden~

I heard Tobias growl as my alarm clock started blearing.

"Die. You will not awake my cute mate."

I laughed and grabbed his arm, "It's okay. I need to get up anyways. I have classes today."

He growled but calmed down pouting a little bit. I lightly kissed him and shut off the alarm clock. He gently wrapped his arms around me and curled around me. I smiled and hugged him back, I had set my alarm clock for a hour earlier just in case this happened to happen.

I cuddled with him for a little bit longer then attempted to pry myself from his grip.

"Tobias. I have to get ready. When I get back I promise that I will give you as many kisses as you want."

He sighed but let me go. I smiled at him and kissed him on the check going to my closet to change. I don't know why but I didn't tell him to leave. I didn't want to, a part of me wanted him to always be near me.

After getting dressed in a baby blue striped shirt and black pants I made my way down stairs. Kevin was in the kitchen cooking breakfast when we got down there.

"Our father's asleep. He had a meet late last night with the pack and didn't get done until 3 in the morning."

I nodded and looked over at Tobias who was looking at me wantonly. I smiled and walked over to him letting him wrap his arms around me. Kevin smiled at us and gave me two plates. I smiled and started to eat and once and a while give Tobias a bite. I could pause the rest of my life and pretend that I wasn't bullied daily.

After breakfast it was time to go to school. I smiled at Tobias and gave him a sweet kiss.

"Sorry Tobias, I have to go to school. And you've got to stay here. Can you do that for me?"

He nodded and looked over at Kevin who smiled, "Don't worry Walter and I will be here most of the day so you won't be here alone."

He nodded and watched me leave sadly.

School wasn't the worst. My classes were pretty easy but I would rather be homeschooled being able to sit with Tobias the whole day. He could hold me while I went to classes. I wouldn't even care if the teacher was on video and could see my mate and I together.

I missed him already. I need him.

I wanted to whimper. Wanted to call out to Tobias when I saw Tomas and Jeffery walk up. I wanted to curry up in his arms and never be seen by anyone else in the world. A/N I want to really quick point out that I am in no way making him act like this because he is an omega. It is just his personality do to his depression and shyness. There is also going to be some rude terms towards Cayden in a minute.

"Hey slut."

I tilted my head down.

"Oh look at the little bitch. He won't even look up. He must really be a little pussy."

I stayed silent.

"Fine I don't think we will be getting any fun out of him today. Or we could always just-"

"What do you think your doing?"

I looked up at the sound of my teacher's voice.

"Get to class. NOW."

They glared at him and then walked over mocking me.

My teacher looked over at me, "Have you told you father about this Cay?"

I shook my head, "Are you part of his pack?"

He nodded, "You finally found out?"

I nodded once again my voice quite, "I want to go home."

I felt his arms go around me, "Have you found your mate yet?"

I nodded, "He's perfect."

He smiled, "I'm going to call the office and tell them that I ran you home because you didn't feel good. I also am going to tell your father to do a territory check."

I nodded and fallowed him. He was free this hour so he could do as he liked.

After wards he drove me to my house.

"Don't worry. I'm an omega so if your mate is an alpha he shouldn't freak out."

I nodded and got out of the car walking up to my house and unlocking the door to see Tobias waiting on me.

"Cayden! Your home early!"

I smiled at him.

"Hey come here. What's wrong."

After hearing that I run into his arms finally letting the tears fall. He gently picked me up and took me to our room locking to door and closing the blinds.

"You have to tell me what's wrong. I can't help you if you don't tell me what's going on."

"Bullies."

He growled, "Did they touch you?"

I shook my head, "No. But they were going to. My teacher- one of my father's pack members came in and saved me."

He kissed my forehead, "I'm going to run you a nice warm bath and take care of you. What ever you want I will do."

"Tobias."

He looked over at me, "Yes?"

"Don't tell my dad. Please."

He nodded, "I promise I won't tell your dad."

He came in a few minutes later saying my bath was ready. He picked me up and carried me to the bath room help me undress kissing me all over.

All of my knuckles, my checks, my forehead, then lastly my lips.

I felt as he lifted me up and placed me into the bath then getting in after me. After he was settled he pulled me to his chest and nuzzled my hair. I could feel him release a calming scent.

"Tell me if this is to much."

I shook my head and smiled up at him, "You've been working on controlling your scents."

He nodded, "I talked to Kevin about what would happen if I didn't."

I sighed and pushed my head more into his chest.

"I love you."

He nuzzled me more, "I love you to. You are perfect, don't let anyone tell you different. Not even me. You deserve to world and so much more. I'll do everything in my power to make you an amazing life."

I smiled, "Would it be okay if I feel asleep?"

He nodded, "Don't even ask. I'm trying to calm you that's the point of this. Just close your eyes and fade away into the darkness."

"I'll protect you."

I smiled. My protector.
