For most people, day to day life involves spending time with friends, parties, maybe even swooning over a couple cute guys in the year above but for Leah Brennan, it's a very different story. A much sadder and lonelier story. But hopefully not for long. She's moving to Northern Ireland, you see. A fresh start in a whole other country, things can't get much better than this. Now that she's been given the opportunity to completely reinvent herself, she might actually make a few friends. At the expense of her mother, of course. There's always a catch. She had the choice of either staying with her mother in England (same fake school, same boring neighbourhood) or moving to Northern Ireland with her father, an adventure of sorts. Although Mrs. Brennan made it clear that Leah wasn't the reason for the divorce, Leah still felt as though she was to be blamed. She also told Leah that anytime she felt homesick, all she had to do was call and she would arrange for Leah to be brought back to England. Nice to know that there's a plan B in place for if things don't work out over there. The first day in NI was a whirlwind of emotions, but for now let's start off in England, where Leah's story really began...
