"Shoot, there's no way all of my clothes are fitting in this" Leah exclaimed to herself. She opened her door and called out, "Dad! Dad, I'm gonna need a bigger suitcase!" She waited a moment for a reply...Silence. She sighed and headed down the stairs only to meet her slovenly father in the living room, beer in hand, watching a game of footie on the telly. Man City were up against Arsenal and had the upper hand, 2-0. Mr. Brennan stood to his feet, throwing his fists to the air and yelled, "COME ON, YOU LOT!!" Leah, startled, jumped out of her skin,
"For goodness' sake, Dad. You scared the living daylights out of me" she exhaled, eyes shut and hand on her fast-beating heart. "The suitcase you gave me is too small" she complained, but Mr. Brennan was too focused on the game to notice her. "Dad, half my clothes won't fit" she continued. Mr. Brennan turned his head to see his daughter stood in the doorway, arms folded with impatience. He replied, having paid no attention to what Leah was saying,
"Oh, Leah, didn't see you there. Have you finished packing yet?"
"No. No, I haven't (which you'd know if you had actually listened to a word of what I just said)." she responded under her breath, "My clothes won't fit."
"Can't say I'm surprised, you have put on a little weight these last few months..."
"What?! No! They won't fit into my suitcase."
Mr. Brennan chuckled heartily and took a swig of his beer, "I'm just messin with you, sweet 'art. Squeeze the lot in and sit on the damn thing. That way, you'll be able to zip it up." He continued to watch the football game and called out, eyes still glued to the screen, "And hurry up, you won't have time to finish this tomorrow morning."
Leah sighed and headed back up the stairs, cursing the procrastination that led her to believe she'd have no trouble finishing all her packing the night before.
After 20 minutes of hard work, Leah managed to finish her packing and took to Tik Tok to see if Kian had uploaded a new video yet. He usually uploads during the day, but Leah knew he liked to mix things up sometimes. To her surprise, Kian had uploaded a video about starting a cult. "I appear to meet all the requirements" she thought to herself, "apart from the one about dress sense. I literally dress like someone stole my school uniform and I've had to borrow clothes from the lost and found." She shrugged. "He hasn't come up with a name yet. What about...E-Children? Wait, that kinda makes him sound like a paedophile. Hmm...wait, what about E-Adolescents? Lmao, "E-Adolescents", that sounds so stupid...Actually, what about Edolescents? Like adolescents, but on the internet. "Edolescents"... Doesn't sound half bad." Leah commented her name suggestion in the hopes that Kian would see it and then, went to bed dreaming of meeting him in NI. Although her hopes were high, Leah knew NI was a fairly large country and it didn't help that she had no idea what part he lived in, but (improbable as it was) Leah had her heart set on meeting the discounted Eboy of her dreams, Kian Jardine.
