Power [Completed]

Chapter 5

Warning! I'll be writing war scenes! Though I'm not the best at writing them, you've been warned!

Diana's POV

"Diana?" Keith asks from behind me, "If Sophia was here how would she feel?"

"She'd be ready to fight and be scared at the same time." I respond falling back so they can hear me.  Keith nods and starts talking to the other boys again. I think the reason he asked is because he's always worried, and wants to know how others react.

A few minutes later, we arrive at the canyon and land on in front of Claire and her soldiers. I let Carmen out of her "cage thing", Keith and Oliver follow and we all stand behind Roybin.

Claire laughs, "I see you haven't chickened out." Roybin hisses standing her ground. Claire claps, teleporting us to a rundown town made of stone. "This look's like something from the Roman times." Carmen whispers to be. I nod taking in the scene.

Broken pillars litter the area along with broken parts of houses and other stone buildings. Moss and vine covers everything, what ever happened here seems to be an explosion of some kind. It's also like, 20 vs 6. This is going to be a hard battle.

Claire, using her magic, summons a Grim Reaper like weapon appears in her hand. Roybin following, summons dual fire and ice swords. Roybin moves her hand that signals, 'step back'. We follow her orders. Claire does the same for her soldiers, and they follow her orders.

As every soldier summons their weapons, Claire and Roybin get in fighting positions. If Sophia was here she'd summon her spear-bow and infinite-arrow quiver. I think tightening the grip on my fire sword. I shake away the thought of my dead friend.

Just then, Claire gives a war cry and launches herself at Roybin. Roybin blocks the attack and pushes Claire off her. Many of Claires soldiers launch themselves at us and start attacking us.

A boy with a katana starts to aim towards my eyes, arms and legs. I block the attacks and surround him in a ball of fire. I launch myself in the ball and stab him in the heart. I leap out of the ball and am immediately hit my a girl with spear.

No one's POV

The battle rages on. Flashes of magic appear at times; blood start to stain parts of the battlefield. Slowly, Claire's soldiers start lowering in numbers. But after the numbers get to 13, the tables turn. Those thirteen, are ones that are genetically modified so they can have dual powers and even more strong.

Roybin has stopped fighting Claire and now a black haired boy and girl. Claire's now fighting Diana. (Kinda an even match, they both have the power of fire.) Logan and Carmen are fighting three people together. Keith and Oliver and fighting the most mount to people, eight people.

Roybin and her friends are losing hope of winning, the others are stronger than they thought.

Diana's POV

"Gah!" I gasp as Claire slams me on the ground, knocking the air out of me. "Do you really think you and your friends could win this war?" Claire spits a evil smirk on her face. I groan, trying to get back on my feet.

Claire slams me back on the ground pinning me down by the neck. I start to reach for her wrist to try and pry it off. She quickly uses her magic to hold all the other parts of my body down.

Claire's eyes suddenly widen and her faces turns from evil to surprised and worried. "Why'd you stop?" I hiss trying to sound tough and not show the worry.

"Maybe she senses someone with a higher power level then her."
