Power [Completed]

Chapter 6

Last Time

"Why'd you stop?" I hiss trying to sound tough and not show the worry.

"Maybe she senses someone with a higher power level than her."

That...that voice seems familiar. Everyone else runs to where I am and stands next to me.

"Are you ok?" Roybin whispers to me. "My neck, back and wrist hurts a bit." I whisper answer back to Roybin. She nods showing her understanding.

"Who are you?! Show yourself!" Claire yells in the direction of the voice. The voice ominously laughs.

A figure in all black, with an open dark gold trench coat, a black hood, mask and blindfold forms out of smoke, or something.

"Who are you." Claire sternly says.

"Who am I?" The figure says, "gosh, you have a horrible memory. You know me. You all know me." -The figure looks at Keith and Oliver- "But you two don't know me, but I know you."

Claire raises her eyebrow, "Are you close to them?" "You could say." The figure shrugs. Claire in one swift movement traps Roybin, Carmen, Logan, Oliver, Keith and I in a magical box of the dark matter only Claire has. The figure shakes her head. "That was a mistake. A grave mistake."

The figure somehow goes past Claire's barrier, much to Claire's distress, and sucks our magic out of us. (Except Logan and Carmen, obviously.) "How? Wha-?" Claire stutters staring the magic flow into the figures hands and form into a ball of magic. The figure with one hand takes off the trench coat and shows some black wings. He or she expands her wings as far as they go and throws the magic in the air. When the magic falls back on he or she it coats most of his or her wings. For some reason, some feathers turn gold. (Hmmmmm... I wonder why!?!)

"What a show. You still can't defeat me, even with all the elements. You don't even have the element of light with you!" Claire teases terribly hiding her fear.

"Wrong." The figure says flipping his or her hood and eye mask off.
