34: gift

Today taehyung was very nervous. He had to do something in the lunch break without Jungkook noticing. But it was hard to shake the other off.

Jungkook was everywhere he went. Even the restrooms. He would stand there whenever taehyung walked out. Just leaning casually against the wall waiting.

Taehyung didn't mind at first but now he needed to leave the school before lunch started and that was ten minutes.

But jungkook wouldn't leave, so taehyung had finny gotten a idea.

He opened his chats and went to the group chat. Seeing the list of people.

He tapped one number he never texted before.

taehyung:

Please come distract jungkook for me.

Yoongi:

Why?

Taehyung:

I need to do something but he doesnt let me out of his eyesight.

Yoongi:

Fine...What do i do?

Taehyung:

Just keep him busy. I won't take too long i think.

Yoongi:

Ok on my way....

In return i want you talk good about me to Jimin.

Taehyung:

Okay!

It took Yoongi only seconds to walk to taehyung making the younger surprised how fast he appeared.

"Jungkook" yoongi said walking closet.

"what?" jungkook said nudging at his friend.

"the bullies are talking shit about Taehyung"

"where the fuck are they?" jungkook rolled his sleeves up walking to yoongi who looked at taehyung getting a thumbs up from the younger.

"well at the back fo the school", yoongi said. He knew that saying that would get the younger away from taehyung's side. He had picked up that Jungkook had a huge weak spot for taehyung. He wasn't so though with taehyung as he appeared to others.

Jungkook just needed some love. Just like Taehyung.

"okay okay" taehyung said to himself flinging his bag over his shoulder and ran off just as lunch break started.

He left the school and walked to the city nearby searching for the perfect store.

He had some money in his phone case. Which was all he had. He saved it knowing he didn't get anything from his father. And his father didn't allow him to work, so he was very cautious if he would spend this or not.

Taehyung had thought a while about it. Jungkook payed everything for taehyung even the hospital bill. He was so thankful to the tall raven. He really liked him and loved him that he decided Jungkook was a right choice to spend this little money he got on.

He gave himself a smile and a nod walking into the store. It had nice little things. The prices ranged left and right. Some expensive some cheap.

Taehyung wanted something nice. He didn't. Find anything that he liked and could afford. Until he saw this small glass looking thing. It was just his price.

He smiled and took it to the counter.

"h-hello" he said and the man greeted back.

"is this all?"

"yes"

"then it will be €25" the man said. "gift or for yourself"

"gift but dont w-wrap it" taehyung said placing all his money on the counter.

"who is the lucky person?"

"a v-very special one" taehyung said smiling warmly. "thank you" he took the object after the man accepted the money.

He left the store and put his bag down searching for his scissors.

He wanted to make it special. So he used one point of the scissors to carve in the glass.

Taehyung was walking back to the school. He had took to long and the lessons already started again.

Once he came closer he saw Jungkook stand at the front gates with his arms crossed.

"Kookie?" taehyung said softly standing next to Jungkook who was leaning against the front gates.

He was nervous but he wanted to do it. And he felt like he should.

"Oh Tae. Where were you? I was looking for you" jungkook said looking slightly worried.

"i was getting s-something"

"oh why, what is it?"

"something f-for you" taehyung said and reached in his bag before taking out a glass like object.

"i-it's not much, but this is all i c-could afford" taehyung said as he looked down holding out his hands which had a glass angel holding a heart that rested on her lap. It was very pretty and shiny.

"Tae that's....So sweet" jungkook said and accepted the gift taking it from taehyung's hands. He smiled looking at it. On the heart was TH+JK engraved not very neatly but jungkook didn't care about that.

"do you l-like it?"

"like it? I love it! And. Love you" jungkook said and pecked taehyungs lips. The smaller smiled watching Jungkook put it in his bag proudly.

"i'm glad, let's g-go to c-class"

"not after another kiss" Jungkook said and pulled taehyung back at his wrist. He wrapped one arm around the smaller's waist holding him close as he connected their lips again. This time in a longer kiss.

Its always difficult to write those casual chapters/moments before another important story moment happened.
