56: charge

The two were at home. But they didn't expect the doorbell to ring.

"I-i'll go" taehyung said and stood up walking to the door. He opened it and immediately stepped back wanting to close it again but the person put a door between the door and pushed it back open.

"you are coming with me right now, kim Taehyung!!"

"f-father please leave," Taehyung said, stepping back.

"you are such a annoying kid, running away from your father. You are mine, you have MY name." mr.Kim said and grabbed Taehyung's arm.

"I suggest you let go of him right now mr.Kim" Jungkook appeared in the hallway with an angry expression. His arms crossed as he glared at the unwanted man in his house. Poking his cheek with his tongue in anger.

"l-let go dad" Taehyung said and pulled at his arm but the grip only tightened. Taehyung whimpered and then something went through him.

He kicked his father's leg.

"ah! the fuck did you just do!?" mr.Kim was even more angry now. Taehyung began to geret doing it.

But before mr.Kim could do anything Jungkook charged forward and punched his jaw. Mr.Kim stumbled back holding his cheek. A bit of blood on his lips.

"the f-"

"leave right now or I'm calling the police on you right now" jungkook said.

"fuck you both. Definitely you Taehyung, I will find you. Just you wait brat" mr.Kim then left the house and jungkook immediately closed the door.

Jungkook sighed leaning against the door.

Taehying began to think Jungkook didn't want to fix Taehyung's problems. That he was annoying icne again. But it was far from that. Jungkook didn't mind protecting taehyung. But this was not just a bully or someone that was just stupid. This was someone who shouldn't be allowed outside like this. He was a real danger and breaking the law. He needed to be stopped. Only then Taehyung can be free and live his life. Mr.Kim was holding him back from being himself, being really happy.

"Tae...You know.." Jungkook started. He didn't know how to say it, was it right for him to even say it? He didn't know. But he wanted to help Taehyung so he just said it as carefully as he could. "i think you should report your father to the police..."

"r-report?" taehyung asked, looking a bit concerned. The thought of reporting his father was something. He didn't know what would happen if he did that.

"yes, he isn't supposed to get away with what he has done. Same goes to his two friends, they should be in jail" jungkook said. He remembered the day he took Taehyung away. He knew what happened and he was still angry over it. He couldn't just let it slide like taehyung did. But taehyung did that because it was all he could do now. He had given up to struggle back.

"Well, i...I-i'm not sure i-if I can do that,'' Taehyung whispered. He looked down. He felt like he would disappoint Jungkook by refusing. But he didn't dare to take such a big step. What if his father found out, he was probably watching him. He will find out. Many thoughts went through the boy's head and he started to feel panicked. Suddenly the whole idea of reporting his father sounded like a horrible decision.

"Hey, calm down, I will go with you" Jungkook said, pulling Taehyung against him. He noticed the discomfort of the other. He still was not sure how far taehyung was comfortable with him. But he can just hug him to calm him right, that's not a bad thing.

"o-okay..."

"i really think you should do it Tae. He isn't a good man. He did bad things and he will do them again if he gets the chance. I just want the best for you. I understand it looks like a bit difficult to do. But I can assure you it will only get better if you do it" jungkook said and gently brushed the hairs out of Taehyung's face. Looking at the pretty pair of eyes behind the new glasses.

"i-if you say so, I will do it"

"shall we go today, before you change your mind?"

Taehyung nodded and hugged Jungkook hiding his face in the ravens neck. He didn't like thinking about his father. But jungkook made him feel safe. Even if the raven hurted his heart. He had given him a second chance.

"kookie?"

"hm"

"d-do you still...Love me?"

"Of course I do," Jungkook immediately said without hesitation.

"thank you" taehyung smiled a bit and then sighed, relaxing against the other.
