Jungkook stood with his arms crossed leaning against the lockers. He looked at Taehyung who was putting his books back.

"what shall we eat today?"

"hm... I'm feeling f-for rice today ''Taehyung said, flipping open his notes of what homework they had for tomorrow.

"then we will eat that." jungkook nodded at the words. "Do you want to eat outside? At those small restaurants in the city?"

"Oh that sounds r-really nice," Taehyung smiled, closing his locker.

"good, then that's settled"

"Taehyungie!" it was Jimin and Hoseok. Jimin almost tackled Taehyung to the ground when he hugged him.

"wow c-chim careful"

"sorry, but how are you now?" jimin asked.

"We heard about the police and your father,'' Hoseok said softly to no one else would hear.

"o-oh that. Well I'm doing fine."

"that's good to hear. Knowing your past I think it's a good decision Tae" jimin said and sighed.

"yea i think so too, i just hope he won't come back."

"well i don't think he will," Hoseok said.

"hm a-annyway. I'm going to eat with Jungkook in the city. And we got to work on our homework b-before leaving, so we got to go" taehyung said and grabbed Jungkook's hand

"alright, bye bye. See you tomorrow!"

The two then left the school building heading home.

"is it far?" taehyung asked as the two were walking to the restaurant.

"not really...Five minutes or so? It's all the way north"

"oh like that"

"did you notice your stutter became less?" Jungkook asked. Looking at taehyung while they walked.

"not really. B-but now you mention it." taehyung smiled. But then Jungkook frowned and halted.

"what's wrong-oh..." there was Hanna.

"uhm can you leave" jungkook said to her.

"i'm sorry you couldn't love me. I see was wrong" hanna said. But this was not an apology Jungkook or Taehyung will accept.

"i will never like you. I already love Taehyung. And you even trying to make me cheat on him was bad. You are a dirty snake Hanna"

"hm, i-" but then they got interrupted by Taehyung.

"you...." taehyung looked up at her. A frown on his face. "i-i...I HATE YOU" taehyung shouted and stepped forward. Standing in front of Hanna.

"w-"

"thinking that you could take away MY boyfriend. MY kookie!?" taehyung interrupted her. "you should know better. Is your heart really cold like that?!"

"i...Taehyung-"

"i don't want to see or hear from you ever again! Leave us alone" taehyung then lowered His voice. He realised what he had been saying. He had been shouting at her. He wasn't even stuttering at that time. He frowned a bit and looked down.

Jungkook stepped to his side and held his hand giving it a small squeeze.

"I will go...I'm sorry again," Hanna said and stepped back.

"yea. I think that's best" Jungkook said. "also, tell our parents. I don't want to call them now"

"I will," Hanna sighed sadly and turned around walking away.

"you were..Quite mad just now," jungkooks said and looked at taehyung.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to shout like that. I-i just got so angry"

"It's okay, I think she's getting the point now," Jungkook chuckled a bit. But then seeing taehyung was still bothered by it he pulled him into a hug. "come here you, relax, we are fine now"

"kookie?" taehyung said as he hugged back.

"hm?"

"can you..Be my boyfriend again?"

"i would love to sweetheart" jungkook responded and placed a kiss on taehyung's hair while smiling.

*ring*

It was Taehyung's phone.

He parted from the hug a bit confused who would even call him. He saw the number and picked up.

"hello?"

"hello, is Kim Taehyung?" a voice said.

"yes, that's me"

"ah good, I wanted to inform you that Kim Sunmo had been arrested this morning. He will be transferred to jail today."

"o-oh that's..Good news"

"It certainly is, I can assure you that he won't be a bother to your life until he serves his time. And even after that. If you want i can make a appointment so you can talk to him?"

"no. i don't have anything to say to him...Just let him know i was the one that gave the report..And...Tell him i am no longer his son"

"I will, have a nice day" the voice responded and then they ended the call.

"was that the police?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung nodded.

"he had been arrested"

"that's great"

"it is" taehyung chuckled a bit. It felt like this heavy weight...These chains had been lifted off him. He was free from his father's grasp. He could finally live and be happy.

"I'm happy for you, I promise it will only get better. I will do my best for it"

"thank you..For being there for me"

"anytime" jungkook smiled when Taehyung hugged him again. It warmed his heart. He closed his eyes hugging back tightly.

Yes, he was sure.

It will get better now.
