She was sitting on a coffee table. It was calm inside the cafe. She was out on a bicycle ride when it started raining. She took shelter in the coffee shop. It was close to her camping site. There were not many people. Only sound she could focus on was the sound of indistinct chatter of few people present in the cafe. She was sitting on the corner table beside the glass wall. She could see the rain drops picking up races with eachother. They bashed their heads with the glass and then run down as if they were all in to win the first prize. She could see the clouds getting thicker. She wanted to go back to camping site but the fact was no one was waiting for her back there. She was here on vacation. She wanted to come to New Zealand this year and now that she's here She kind of liked sitting in the cafe looking at the beautiful scenery created by the rain. She took a deep breath and her lungs filled with fresh air. She could smell the pleasant smell of rain. Just then she saw some boys between 20-25 years of age running into the cafe. They were laughing hysterically and were all wet. It was really cold outside. One boy had blue lips. Maybe he had low threshold for cold tolerance. There were some more men elder than them. They were holding cameras wrapped up in covers. She could feel the difference between those boys and those men. All the boys had very expensive clothes on. They were all well maintained and handsome. They way the boys were getting attention she felt like they were some celebrities. But she didn't know who were they. She ordered another coffee. Inside the cafe the atmosphere was good because of heaters but outside it was freezing cold. She goaled the idea of camping today. She might go back to site, get her stuff and her rented car and go stay in a hotel. A loud laughter broke her rhythm of thoughts. The whole group of boys that just entered was laughing and enjoying their coffee. Looking at them, she was wondering what would it be like if she also had someone to come up here with. She rejected her own thought laughing. She didn't have time for any relationships. She was happy as a single person. She had friends back at work and in neighbourhood but there was no one she was in an actual relationship with. After half an hour rain stopped.
She left after paying the bill. She had to get to her car on her bicycle. She got on the bicycle and went straight to the camping site.
