I opened my eyes, there was no other color in the room but white. Everything was white.

I approached to the side of the bed and watched the room wondering why was I there, I started remembering everything that happened last day. I remembered Joey, Radcliffe, Lash, Ward... I knew Lash died, but I couldn't figure out if Ward was ok, no one told me.

And so far, only Jemma was visiting, always through the security glass.

"I told you everything I know" This was the daily checkup taking place.

"I'm here to provide progress updates based on the intel you gave us" She informed, I wasn't sure I wanted the intel.

"They only sent you" I realised, "Why?"

"If anything I tell you jogs any memories, any information at all, I'll ask you to divulge" I looked at her, she was still behind the glass with her tablet on her hands.

"It's because you're the only one I didn't  hurt" I stated, "personally, I mean." I knew that by hurting Fitz and the team I had hurt her, but I didn't try to choke or broke any bones in her body.

"Have you thought in any pertinent information?" She insisted, I could see she wanted to leave as fast as possible.

"As I said, Hive's followers tell him everything" He rarely returned the favor, at least to the rest of them, but I wasn't going to tell them that, I wasn't going to tell anything personal to them, not if I had a choice at least.

"We're acting on a new lead" I looked at her, waiting to see if she was going to keep talking, "We've located the US missile silo in the Pacific. Seems like a good fit" She said.

"If that's what they want to do, they'll be there ahead of you" I warned her. I didn't know what Hive planned, in fact he didn't ever told me about it, we didn't had enough time.

"Yes, the silo staff went silent five hours ago" She informed me.

"Even if you infiltrate you can't shut down the launch, not without Government kill codes. It's not hackable, you'll need-"

"We're aware" She cut me. It was clear that they didn't need me. They had me inside the cell for my one safety, because I was too weak yet, or that's what they told me. I knew they didn't want me in the field now, that they didn't trust me yet.

"The only thing you gave us that didn't pile up was that word" She continued, "You said he mentioned absolution, any idea of what he meant?" I shook my head and looked at her.

"He thinks he's the savior" I answered. And he thought so, but he was also the only one that wanted to give a step forward for inhumans, that wanted to make the world better for us. Before, I wasn't able to see the consequences that would have for humans, but now... I couldn't say I was worried for them.

"You know Jemma" She took a step back, but I stopped her before she could get out, "I remember making a deal with him" I told her, she froze and looked at me, I stood up from the white couch and looked at her, "I remember making a deal with him about you and Fitz, about letting you live. You two were the only ones that didn't tried to stop his plan" I told her, she looked at me surprised.

"But we did, we tried to stop him, we did everything in our hand to do that" She answered.

"Yeah, I know, but Fitz was the only one that understood what I was going through when I changed" I saw her face looking at the floor, maybe regretting something.

"Because all I wanted to do was to find a cure for you, I thought it was a disease" She mumbled.

"But I also knew that Fitz wasn't going to come alone, not without you. So he promissed me to leave you two alone, as long as you didn't interfere" I shaked my head, "But you did, and now I can't protect you anymore, I'm sorry" I cried, "I told Fitz to leave us alone, but he kept trying"
