(Ella's pov)

I peaked at the other male through the door way, seeing him sitting on the edge of the bed, seeming confused and lost as his heat rested around him.
Poor thing, he probably doesn't know where he was.

"You don't need to watch me?" The creature spoke up, looking at the door way, seeing me holding a tray of water and whatever I could scavenge in the kitchen. We were dipping dry what we had left. How could (y/n) solve this issues? Only thing we could do is go out during dark and snack on a human.

I walked in with the sweetest smile and a none threatening walk. "How are you feel?" I placed the tray on the bed side table, before checking one him. "You wouldn't mind if I touch your forehead? The other two told me to me to be careful with you."

"I see no point in you touching my forehead." He spoke slowly.

"It's the only way I can check your temperature. Lady (y/n) told me you were had high temperatures. Since, I'm been task to take care of you and your friends. It would be only nice I make sure you are 100% fine."

"So (y/n) has a little humans running around for her."

"I think you should keep your mouth close. We don't run around for her. We live her all as collective. If we want to keep our home safe we have to do our part in keeping it safe. However some of us own our life to her. Some chose to willingly be like this and others were dying unfairly. It's was all based off of who she liked. However, we don't serve her or do we see her anything more than who she is."

"Bring Esidisi to me."

"Say please."

"Excuse me?"

"You're not (y/n) so I expect you to have some manners."

(Y/n)'s Pov

I was awoken by Alex. He held a cheerful smile and a tray of breakfast. His hair was a mess and his face was covered in scrapes and marks. it might not just be his face but a few traces of scratches within his neck and arms. It was as if he was attacked by a wild animal or yves if someone makes a mockery of his accent. Though nobody cares about where the others came from. We are all family.

However, seeing Alex in such conditions made me worried. Did the new arrivals did this or was it by an animal? The cuts seem deep and remarkably new.

"Recover yourself or else you will set off the juvenile. We fool our hunger and eat bland food. No humans come on our land no more, I notice how hostile you all have gotten. We might need to go into town to feed soon."

"Really?" He pre-exists smile grew to a smirk.

"By the way, where is Kars?"

"Kars? wow, the guy you rested on?" My cheeks flushed with redness, knowing I showed vulnerability around someone. It makes me sick. Genuinely, it does. Someone has seen me in my weakness moments after having my emotions been of fucked with.

"Where is he?" In a bath with the other arrivals.

"Oh, I will be joining them. To lay down some rules." I got out of bed without and head to the large bathroom, which had a big bath. I frequently use this bathroom.

"My lady, your food?" Alex followed me with the tray of breakfast.

"Stop seeking to replace Antonio's place. You consume it. You take care of yourself. I don't require you to look after me. I am more than capable of to gather my own meals. Stop whatever plan you have. I will never give you the attention back." I warned him as I felt like he was forcing his way to were Antonio used to be. However, what isn't how it works. Antonio was loyal and the long-lasting member. He didn't make food for me unless I was unable to, He would help in other ways. He cared for me and helped me stay stable when I felt down. I got to attach to someone. Whose fate was to die serving me.
