(A/N: This chapter may be triggering or very sad, so if you want to skip you may)
After two hours, he was here. I was laying in bed holding my new born son. "So, did you come up with a name?" Lauren asked. I laughed.
"Well, I was gonna name him something that would've been cute and punny if Joe and I would've worked out. Luke Sky Walker. Sky being the middle name. I just thought it would've been funny" I laughed and Lauren also laughed.
"That is the best name in the world." She giggled. I sighed.
"But I think I'm going to go with Bellamy Finn Lemons." I smiled looking at my sleeping boy in my arms. Lauren smiled at the name, she had suggested Finn if it was a boy. The doctor came in to check on the baby and myself. A nurse had followed her in. The nurse took Bellamy to make sure he was still okay while nurse checked my out. The nurses then tapped on the doctor's shoulder and whispered something in her ear. Lauren had stepped out as soon as the doctor came as to give us some privacy. The nurse looked worried and so did the doctor. They then rushed out the door with my son. "Excuse me?! Where are you running off to with my baby!?" I called after but no one answered.
LAUREN'S POV
When the doctor had come in with the nurse to check out Cass and Bellamy, I took the opportunity to call Joey and tell him the baby had arrived. "Hey! Lo! What's up?"
"The baby is here. Its a boy and his name is Bellamy Finn." I smiled event though he couldn't see.
"Oh my god! Send me a picture please!" He said excitedly
"I will but oh my god Joey, he is so cu-" I stopped talking as soon as I saw the doctor running out with the nurse along with Bellamy. "Joey, I got to go, I'll call you back." And hung up on him again. I went back into the room.
CASS'S POV
Lauren came back in. "What's going on?" She asked.
"I'm not sure. They just ran with the baby and no one is answering the call button." We sat for about 15 minutes until the nurse and doctor came back holding my baby.
"May we speak with you Miss Lemons?" she looked at Lauren. "Alone?" The doctor had asked and I nodded and Lauren left. "We have something we have to tell you."
LAUREN'S POV
I was waiting to be allowed back into the room when I heard Cassy scream. I ran into the room and saw her laying on bed with her head in her hands crying. The doctor and the nurse left taking Bellamy with them. I ran to Cass's side. "What happened?! What's wrong?!" She was sobbing uncontrollably. "Cass? What happened?" I asked more calmly. She looked at me with so much sadness.
"Bellamy.. he... he.. he didn't make it Lauren." My eyes widened and I, myself, started to cry. I just pulled her into a hug and we stayed like that for a long time. After awhile, Cass had cried herself to sleep. I took this time to go try and get something to eat. On my way back to the room empty handed, because nothing was appealing, my phone was going off. It was Joey video calling. I quickly wiped my eyes and answered it.
"Hey, Joey." I tried to keep my voice from shaking but it didn't work.
"Hey, Lo, whats wrong?" He asked. I tried to form words but I didn't know what to say. He waited for me to speak. So when I finally mustered up words, I said, "Bellamy died, Joey." I saw his face all could tell he was trying to not cry.
"Wha- what happened?" He asked.
"I don't know. I don't think the doctors know either." I wiped my eyes again.
"Shit." He wiped his eyes. "I should come back."
"No, Joey. We will probably leave here soon. Not when we planned but, we will be there eventually. Cass is asleep, so we will probably talk later about it." He nodded in response. We ended it at that. I walked back into the room and laid on the make shift couch bed. I slowly drifted off to sleep.
