Loop of Hearts

Chapter 3

Mr.Tobi's class ends, which means that it's time to go home and everybody gets ready to leave. I catch Sumire packing up to go in corner of my eye, "Hey, getting ready to leave?" I ask, "There's no volleyball practice today. So...yeah. Um.. What about you? Aren't you leaving?"
"No, have to help my friend with his work. So I'm leaving a little bit late."
"Okay. I...I'll see you tomorrow."
"Yeah." She goes to the exit. I started talking to her a few days ago and we can talk but she still is quite shy I guess and we exchange only such small conversations. I still need to improve my friendship with her since she sits behind me in class and is a good girl overall. It's not that hard to recognise her in croud because she's one of the few kids in school who are brunette, others are black haired or blonde, but blonde is as rare as brunette. Kaname is black haired like me, Suga, TP, Mashi and Kuro, which reminds me, I need to help TP with his work. I look at Suga and I see is packing his bags, so I do the same, I put the bag on my shoulder and I begin walking to where Suga is, when I hear a voice, "Hey".

I was thinking why she wasn't calling out to me, but she did call out. I need to keep the loop going because I don't know if should make any change but how small of a change can make a difference, I feel like I really shouldn't test it out right now. "Oh class rep, congratulations on becoming the girls' representative."
"Oh, thanks..." "My name's Akira Tsugaki. But you can call me Akira." I interrupted her sentence and introduced myself. Last time I didn't introduce myself and she was acting shy , so I decided to change it up this time and I can't deny the fact that I'm curious and anxious of the reply she has. "And I myself am Kaname." She giggles, "But you probably knew that when they elected me." "Yeah I kind of did." I reply.
She looks at her watch,"so...umm." she's holding the hem of her skirt and seems shy but less than last time, "It's getting late, I should go. See you tomorrow, Akira." She runs off. So basically some different things happened, she was holding her skirt instead of her bag like last time, was less nervous and had different conversation even though she was showing similar reactions. This means that changes can happen when I make different decisions. It's not like I didn't think of making changes by starting to talk to Sumire a few days ago but since I didn't talk to her before I didn't know if she showed any difference when talking, and I was thinking that even if I said something different, Kaname would still reply the same way but that doubt's all clear now. I walk over to Suga and we head over to TP's classroom.

After all the helping we head home. Nothing different happened during the time we were helping TP, so that's sort of a new information. We walk, talking about what happened in school and I already heard it so I have to sometimes fake a reaction and I really hope they don't notice it. We part ways after a while and I'm alone walking to my home but something has been bothering me, it doesn't make sense you know? The part where I got the seat number is one of the things that has been bugging me for some time. I remember the time when I was restarting again and again in Mr.Tobi's class and I remember me getting a different seat number B3 before actually getting A4. If I remember the way I reacted when the seat number changed, at the time before restarting, then it doesn't add up.
