Chapter 8 - Time To Say Goodbye

The next day is the day Julia goes back to her real time. She was really dreading it since she's never going to see Paul again. She put on the clothes she had on when she arrived, and put the dresses, shoes, and pajamas Paul bought for her in a bag. Right now, The Beatles are gathered into the living room as Julia prepares to say goodbye to her friends and boyfriend.

"It certainly was nice meeting you all. I really wish I could stay here forever, but I know you have your music to focus on. When I'm back home, I'll be listening for you on the radio." Said Julia. "We wish you all the happiness for you." Said John. "We won't forget you." Said Ringo. "Take care of yourself, and keep your head up." Said George. "Thank you, George. You too, John and Ringo." Julia said.

Paul was silent. "Aren't you gonna say anything, Paul?" Ringo asked. Before Paul could say a word, he was on the verge of tears. "I just wanna say... I love you, Julia!" He cried. Julia puts her hands on her chest. "Oh, Paul! I love you too!" She said. "Even though I wish I could go with you, I want you to know that meeting you was the best thing that's ever happened to me." Said Paul through his tears. John hands him a tissue as Julia gives each of The Beatles a hug goodbye. The three of them exit the room so Julia could have a private moment with Paul.

"It's gonna be very hard without having you with me when I'm back home." Julia said. "I know, darling. I do have one last request for you, however." Paul said. "What's that?" Asked Julia. "Just so I have something to remember you by, can you sing me one last song?" Asked Paul. "Of course, sweetheart." Julia said. She sits down at the piano, warms up her fingers, and plays her song for Paul while she sings.

As soon as Julia finished singing, Paul was an even bigger teary mess. Seeing him cry made her cry as well. Julia wraps Paul into a hug and holds him for what seemed like forever. "I'm gonna miss you so much!" Cried Julia. "Me too, Julia. We may not be seeing each other anymore, but you'll always be my girlfriend." Paul said. "Paul, can you sing me one last song before I leave?" Julia asked. "Absolutely." Said Paul. He sits down at the piano next to his girlfriend as he plays his song for her.

After he finished singing, Julia was crying a lot more than she is now. "I love that song too!" She said through her tears. The two stand up from the piano, and Paul turns Julia's face towards him as they lean in for a kiss. Julia loved Paul so much, she didn't want her lips to leave his as she kept them there for the longest time. Eventually, they pull away. They touched foreheads afterwards. The embrace breaks up as Julia steps back and lifts up the crystal around her neck.

"Goodbye, Julia." Paul said. "Goodbye, Paul." Said Julia. She presses the button on the crystal and it lights up. The light remains on as Julia's body starts slowly fading away. She waves to Paul and blows him a kiss, and he does the same thing in return. And with that, Julia was gone.
