Audi and I were running around the city, finishing a few last minute errands before we saw Savannah tonight for her surprise birthday dinner. We, as well as most of our friends, we back home for the winter break. This evening, Audi and I would pick up Van to go eat, then join the rest of our friends in the wing restaurant.

We couldn't decide on one big thing to get her, so we were getting a lot of inexpensive things that she loves—her favorite snacks, gift cards to her favorite eating spots, and her favorite movies.

After shopping for a few hours, we were stopping for something to eat.

"What you want to eat?" I looked over at Autumn while we were stopped at a red light.

"I don't know. What you want?" I laughed. We could both be so indecisive when it came to finding food.

"We not doin' this today, Audi. I have a taste for everything, so just pick something."

"Uh," she breathed out and looked around. There was always a bunch of food around no matter where we were in Miami. "Let's get tacos." Just as she spoke, the light turned green. I started driving aimlessly until we knew where we were headed.

"Oo, yes. You read my mind, actually."

"I don't know nothin over here." She picked up her phone from her lap and began typing.

"Pull up the GPS, unless you want to wait til we get back to our side of town."

"Fuck no. I'm hungry now. You don't like me when I'm hangry." That was true. Autumn had the worst attitude when she got hungry enough. "Okay. The spot is ten minutes away."

"Good. So we can get back out after and go right to Ulta and be done."

After starting the GPS, Autumn laid back in her seat and closed her eyes. Like she said, we pulled into the small taqueria's parking lot ten minutes later.

"Get up, lazy. We here." I put the car in park and took my key out of the ignition. Picking up my phone from the cup holder, I saw that my boyfriend texted me back a few minutes earlier.
