where they separate

Kim's head wasn't straight this whole case and everyone knew it. Hailey and her had a moment where Kim had confided in her about her sister being drugged and being raped and the same thing had happen in this case but this time , the girl was seventeen and was strangled to death.

A big drug dealer who took over neighborhoods named Pena was the cause of this to the unit but they wanted to check everything off first. Pena was in and out of prison because they couldn't keep him long enough due to him being too smart for them to chase after him. The two guys that raped and killed that girl Tina ? Had their own dicks cut off and a bullet into their head, someone sending them the message they had did wrong and paid for it.

"So do we have anything on this gangbanger Q ?" Hank asked Hailey and Jay. Hailey had turned to her Serg away from her computer and Jay had sat on the edge of her desk beside her, holding an open file.

"Yeah Sarge his name came up on the wire a few days ago. Exact quote : Have Q deliver the guns. Drop off at the pool hall on 22nd. Usual price." Jay read off the paper before looking up at his Sergeant.

"I'm assuming that's somewhere in Little Village ?"

"There's this place called Kedzie Billards on 22nd." Hailey admitted. "It could be his hangout."

"Good, Halsteads , go check it out."

Hailey rolled her eyes at the name that everyone was now calling the two detectives. It was hardly ever Upton and Halstead or Hailey and Jay , it was Halsteads and it was sticking, sticking too much.

Hailey and Jay had gotten up. Jay was walking out and Hailey was walking behind him. She had noticed Adam about to walk back in with Kevin so she kept her head down.  A familiar hand had grabbed her arm , the grip was too familiar.

She looked to Adam.

"Yes Ruzek ?" She asked politely. Adam sighed.

"Can we talk after this case please ?"

"Why ? What is there to discuss ?"

"Hailey-"

The honking of Jay's horn had caught their attention and they both turned to see his truck waiting , Hailey's side of the car facing them.

"Duty calls." Hailey told Adam before walking off and getting inside the truck. Jay had pulled off and they had went to Kedzie Billards. The dark bar and pool place was rock music like it always did , despite the amount of latinos that were present. Hailey and Jay walked to the back to the bar and Jay held up his badge.

"CPD , we're looking for Q-"

One of the bartenders started laughing and Hailey's head ticked to the right a little bit as she looked at him.

"Is there something funny ?"

"No , I'm just really happy. "The man told her sarcastically. "There's no law against that right ?"

"No but there's a law about lying to cops so you might want to rethink you answer." Jay said to him , small smirk on his lips. Hailey had her own as well.

"I swear to God and on my mother , I don't know a man named Q."

"Uh huh." Jay said before him and Hailey started walking away. There was not a chance that the man was going to admit it , especially with all his boys around him. Word would get out and the man would be dead in an hour. Hailey had noticed a woman shooting pool. Tattoos had covered her olive skin and one tattoo had caught Hailey's eyes.
