where Hailey and Kelly meet

"That's Booth on the left." Hailey told Jay as they sat in the front seats in the van while he took photos of the possible suspect. Kim had just gotten off the phone and leaned forward from the back , between the other two detectives.

"That was Atwater, he ran the DOA's burner phone and he had made fifteen calls to Booth's work phone over the last three days."

Jay looked back out the window before noticing something and asking them a question. "Do you guys see the cameras above the doors ?"

Both women stuck their heads out and glanced before noticing the cameras.

"You think he's cooking in there ?" Kim asked and Hailey shook her head. She knew Booth way too well.

"He's smarter than that."

"Well either way , we gotta get eyes inside." Jay told them.

"How about mine ?"

Jay and Kim turned to Hailey who looked at them.

If anything , she was their only hope.

"You sure you want to dust off your old cover ?" Voight asked the blonde detective as she followed Jay Halstead and Hank Voight who were flipping through papers down the hall.

"Best way to chase this Sarge."

"You never testified ?"

"No , we had enough evidence to prosecute without me needing to blow my cover."

"And you sure this Kelly character alive and well in Booth's universe ?"

"As far as he knows , Kelly got scared when the cops busted him and ran straight back to Iowa." Hailey told her Sargeant and he stopped along with Jay before looking at her.

"What about this Garrett Thompson ? A copper out of Rosemount ?"

"What about him ?" She asked and Jay had eyed her, why was another male around his sister and why did he have no idea about it ?

"It says here you were partnered with him as his girlfriend."

"Correct. He was killed during an operation."

"Rumors saying he was flipped and moved to Mexico." Jay told her holding up a sheet of paper.

"He was good police. Booth murdered him."

"So what happened ?" Voight asked her and she sighed.

"They never found his body and we couldn't make a case for him. Look , once Booth turns the liquid meth into crystal , he's going to have a lot of product to move. If I get in , pitch Jay in as a potential buyer and he was bust his ass." She explained. Voight nodded, he trusted his detectives without a complaint.

"Alright let's do it. But let's make one thing clear." He told her. "This a drug deal bust not murder revenge for Garrett's death alright ?"

"Yes Sarge." Hailey instantly nodded. " A bust nothing more."

Hailey gasped , seeing Ronald Booth inside of new fake apartment the CPD let her borrow for the stint. She walked in and shut the door behind her.
