Nathaniel's POV
She looked terrified-Aurora.Her eyes were wide open and she was breathing heavily.I kept calling her name but she was frozen on the spot.
"Aurora!Hey look at me.What's wrong?"I pleaded looking into her eyes trying- to understand what was going on in that pretty head of hers.
"Huh?Wh-at?Everything is fine."She stuttered and her voice sounded nothing more than a whisper.
"Are you sure?You look pale-like have just seen a ghost."I chuckled trying to lighten up the mood.
She rolled her eyes.
"No you idiot.I'm fine!Thank you for worrying about me though."She smiled a little.
"I would do anything for you Griffin"I mumbled
"What was that?"One eyebrow raised-and she's really cute when she did that-
WOAH.WOAH NOPE DON'T GO THERE-
"Nothing.Come on let's go.We'll grab my sister on our way there"I dropped the subject even though i knew that something was up.
"Okay."She replied
We went to a cafe nearby and we talked.A lot.
It was nice spending time with these amazing women in my life.They mean a lot me
Anyway,after we left from the cafe we went to the Shopping center for like 2 hours.
We were all tired,so we decided to call it a day
We got into my car.The drive back home was silent.
I was sitting in the front seats with Aurora .She was tapping her fingers on her knee nervously-
Tap.Tap.Tap-
I stopped her by putting my hand on hers where it was on her knee
"Stop it.Please tell me what's bothering you,i can see right through you.I know you Aurora. Stop lying to me."I said
"Please."I pleaded
"I already told you!There's nothing wrong."She replied
"Well i don't believe you."I raised my voice to her
"That's not my problem."She snapped at me.
"You wanna try to push me away?Go for it.It's not gonna work Aurora!"I yelled at her
She took in a sharp breath.
"Look.I don't want to fight with you right now.Like i told you the last two times.There.Is.Nothing.Wrong.So drop this.
"Aurora please don't shut me out!Talk to me-"I tried again but she interrupted me
"I said DROP IT."She shouted at me
I sighed.
"Fine.I'll drop it.For now. "I said through gritted teeth
She let out a breath of relief.
"Thank you."She said
I'm sorry i snapped at you.You were just getting on my nerves.She chuckled
There's the laugh i know and love.-
I mentally facepalmed
"Aren't i always?"I laughed
And we're back to our goofy selves.
"That's for sure."She said smiling.
We looked at eachother smiling-
VROOMM.
What the-
BAM.
Holy cheese on a cracker-
What just happened?I thought
"Girls are you okay?"I asked concerned
"We're fine but Nate,look!"Raven said panicking
No.no.no.no.This can't be happening.
We almost got run over by a fricking truck.
"Aurora?Can you hear me?No.She's bleeding guys!We need to get her to a hospital."I said desperately
"Call 911.Hurry!"Rebecca said
I called and told them where we were.Five minutes later they came and put her in an ambulance.We followed them there.
Please don't take her from me now.Please Rory be okay.Be okay.I pleaded in my head.
