After they all woke up, Lucas said that he couldn't go outside.
"Why not?" Kipo asked, yawning but wincing slightly.
"Because, I burn in the sun." He replied casually, as if everybody should know this by now.
"So... your a vampire?" Benson asked, tilting his head.
"Basically, yeah." He responded, sitting back down on the ground, flinching.
"Well I can go outside!" Kipo said, smirking.
Wolf snickered and patted the older girl's shoulder, "Yes, we know."
As the three walked out, Dave tripped over Kipo's newly achieved Jaguar tail.
"Ack—!" Dave yelped, falling flat on his face.
"Omigosh! Are you ok?! I'm so sorry!" Kipo gasped and bent down to see if Dave was alright.
"Yes, I'm fine." Dave grunted, rubbing his face, and then walked off grumbling something about furries.
Kipo blinked, totally baffled of why Dave was acting like this.
"He's fine. He just needs some alone time from what happened." Benson replied, putting his hand on Kipo's shoulder.
"Hope you're right." She sighed and got up, walking off towards a tree.
"Uh, Kipo? What are you doing?" Wolf questioned, raising a brow.
"Hm? Oh! I'm doing this."
She unsheathed her long black claws, and stuck them into the tree, she did the same with her other hand, and began climbing, her tail swaying.
Benson and Wolf gaped, they had totally forgotten that felines could climb trees!
But what about going down?
Kipo climbed the tree to obviously show off, or something like that. Anyway, it took like, an hour for Kipo to get down from the tree.
"But what if I break my legs?!" She shouted back down.
"You won't! Just jump!" Benson yelled back at the Jaguar girl.
Kipo bit her lip, then let go.
A few shocked yells later, Kipo had landed on her feet without any injuries. Maybe only traumatized.
"That was... interesting. I think." Kipo replied, panting, the adrenaline of free falling still running through her veins.
Wolf and Benson blinked, rolling their eyes, "You think?!" They both yelled.
"I'm still getting use to this!" She shouted back with a crazy look in her eyes, "What else do you think I could do?"
They both begged her to not do anything more dangerous, but of course, she wouldn't be Kipo if she didn't take stupid risks.
"Let's see.." She looked down at her claws and sheathed them, then unsheathed them.
"I wonder how sharp they are!"
A few yelps of pain and exasperated sighs later, Kipo ended up with bandages on her hands.
"So.. that sharp." She replied, chuckling sheepishly at Benson and Wolf, who were giving her stern looks.
And a few minutes later, Wolf and Benson went to get some snacks, and they trusted Kipo to not get into any trouble.
Of course, she did.
Once the two had left, Kipo looked around and saw a tree that had fallen down when the explosion had happened.
Her eyes lit up as she ran towards it.
A few minutes later, Wolf and Benson came back to see a Kipo gone.
They both groaned as they began to search for her.
And guess where they found her? Perched on the fallen tree, her eyes were squinted as she gazed at something.
"Kipo what are you doing now?" Wolf questioned, crossing her arms.
The girl didn't reply, but twitched her Jaguar ear in acknowledgement.
Suddenly, Kipo pounced and all the two heard were squeaks and grunts.
The Jaguar girl jumped back up on the fallen tree, and got down, standing up and walking over with a dead mouse in her mouth.
She placed it in front of their feet, and looked up with sparkling eyes.
The two looked disgusted and straight up uncomfortable as they stared at the dead mouse.
Let's just say, Wolf scolded Kipo for the rest of the afternoon.
