11: The End

After Kipo's nap, Wolf took her to see something cool.

But, they had to climb a tree, which Wolf had to ride on top of Kipo, which made her blush like crazy.

Once they were on top of the tree, Kipo helped Wolf sit correctly on the tree, where Kipo didn't need help since she was basically a cat.

"I'm gonna have a hard time getting down." Kipo realized, looking at the ground and shuddering.

"Don't worry, I can help you down." Wolf answered, putting her hand on Kipo's shoulder.

"But what if you need help?" Kipo asked blankly, tilting her head like a cat.

Wolf slightly chuckled, and gazed out at the sky.

Kipo looked at the sky too, and gasped at the sight of it.

It was a beautiful shade of yellow, orange, and purple.

There was a faint rainbow in the distance, making Kipo's eyes widen in its beauty.

"Wow. It's so pretty." Kipo breathed, her fluffy tail thumping.

Wolf looked over, and her heart stopped at the way Kipo looked. The light of the sun slightly lighting her face up, and the child-like wonder in her eyes.

The taller girl noticed Wolf, and raised a brow, "What are you looking at?"

The shorter girl noticed what she was doing, and immediately looked away. She tried not to let her face turn red.

"You ok?" Kipo asked Wolf with a hint of worry in her magenta cat eyes.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm good." Wolf replied with fake ease.

"Ok then." Kipo smiled brightly and looked back at the beautiful sky.

Wolf hesitated, but then finally asked, "Hey.. Kipo.. can I tell you something?"

The other girl looked over at Wolf, tilting her head, "Sure!"

"Well, um.." Wolf started, rubbing the back of her neck.

"Ever since we met, I knew there was something different about you. How you talked to that Mega Monkey, you made friends with the Umluat Snakes, and the Timber cats, even with Jamack, you never ceased to amaze me." She paused, looking at Kipo who had a slightly red face.

"And I even started having this feeling whenever I think about you. A fuzzy, warm feeling. I didn't know what it was at the time, but now I think I know." She took a deep breath, ready to pour her feelings out to Kipo.

To the girl she truly loved for oh so long.

The taller girl's face was even more red then before, and her lips were slightly parted, her tail shot right up, so did her ears.

"Kipo.. the feeling I was feeling, was love. Every time I thought about you, the fuzzy and warm feeling always came back. You amaze me, Kipo. I love how stubborn and selfless you are, I love everything about you." She scooted closer to the girl next to her.

Kipo gasped, her ears slightly drooping and her face red as a tomato.

They were silent for a moment, then finally Kipo replied with, "I love you, too."

And that's where they shared their first kiss.
