"I am the Alpha and the Omega the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

-Revelation 22:13

The moon shown down upon the beast in the corpse.

A slit in the sky, just big enough for the moon tosqueeze through. Waves splashed against the entrance to the cave, and the Leviathan's scales could be seen slipping through the black water.

A corpse, that of a bull, bigger than the sun, or at least in intensity, lay dead in the damp cave.

Inside of the Behemoth corpse, squirmed the body of the Beast, and the words were spoken to come and see.

A congregation of beasts erupted forth into the cave. A pale horse, a black goat, a snake. Feathers from the bird of endless wings dropped down like snow onto the smooth stone.

And then came the King. A beast with seven heads, and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns.

And at his arrival, the seas turned red. The Leviathan sprung from the water, writhing in agony, only to be picked up by the bird, and have its head broken against the rocks.

And with the great serpent's final breath, the beast in the cave opened its eyes.

The eyes blinked once.

They blinked again.

After the third blink, the crowned king crawled its way back down into the sea. The bird flew to the other suns, and the horse and goat faded into the shadows.

The beast stood, it's bronze fur glistening in the light of the moon.

The beast opened its jaws, and let out a bloodied howl at the moon, and the moon had never shined brighter.
