Our past

Taehyung quickly entered his and Jimin's apartment, not wanting to just stand out there and doing nothing.

He quickly locked the door, looking at the letter in his shaky hand.

With his mind all over the place, he decided to tell his bestfriend about it, and walked over to him.

"Hey, Taehyung-ah!" Jimin greeted him with a smile that soon faded away when he noticed his bestfriend's  demeanor. "What's wrong?"

"I-I got another letter..." The brunette mumbled, holding the paper out for Jimin to take.

"Are you sad about... what happened to your dear.. girlfriend.." The blonde male read out loud as he frowned, looking up at Taehyung worriedly.

They were both thinking about the same person.. Yoongi.

Jimin embraced him into a tight hug, knowing that the younger male needed comfort. A lot of comfort.

First his girlfriend dies, and then he receives a letter from the person that kept haunting him.

The blonde male felt bad for Taehyung, he really did, and all he wanted was to help him as much as he could.

After a while of them just hugging in silence, Taehyung had made a decision that he had been thinking long about.

"I wanna tell them about my past.." He said, pulling away to look at Jimin.

The said man widened his eyes. "Tell them about your past? Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I trust them... We've become all really close, and I feel comfortable with telling them."

"I didn't know you guys were that close already!" Jimin smiled, and continued. "Since you feel comfortbale around them, then we can plan to meet up and tell them."

The younger male nodded, watching as his bestfriend got his phone out of his pocket to call their bestfriends.

Taehyung nervously fiddled with his fingers as he waited for the arrival of his and Jimin's bestfriends. He was feeling really nervous, especially because he had opened up to anybody about it.

Other than Jimin and Yira, of course.

The doorbell went off, indicating that Hoseok, Jin and Jungkook had arrived to their apartment.

"I'll go and get it!" Jimin said, already on his way to unlock the door as Taehyung quietly hummed in response.

He bit his bottom lip as he recalled everything that had happened, and how fast it happened.

How he had seen a strange man that one night who seemed familiar, and how everything went downhill from then.

After that he received lots of strange letters, and told Jimin about it who told him that it was Yoongi who sent them.

Taehyung's role model that he looked up to so much.

The brunette sighed, watching as his friends entered their apartment.

Since it was their first time there, they complimented on the picture frames hanging all over the apartment and just overall on how their apartment looked.

Once they noticed how gloomy Taehyung's face looked, they all quieted down.

"Did anything happen?" Jungkook asked, looking at the brunette worriedly.

Taehyung and Jimin exchanged looks, both nodding.

"Take a seat, and then we can tell you." Jimin said while rubbing Taehyung's back, noticing how the way he looked away sadly.

Once they were all seated, an awkward silence filled the room. Hoseok, Jin and Jungkook all shared looks, waiting for either Taehyung or Jimin to speak up.

"U-Umm.. There's something we wanna share.." The brunette started, feeling Jimin hold his hand and squeeze it reassuringly. "The real reason we moved to Ilsan."

"We moved to escape our past, terrible past. It wasnt anything we wanted to remember every time we walked in the streets of Seoul, and moved to Ilsan for a new start.."

"What happened?" Hoseok asked, frowning in worry.

"It wasn't anything big in the beginning, but I saw this one strange man one night. After that, everything went downhill... I started receiving creepy letters."

"What kind of letters?!" Jin questioned.

"Possessive letters, they all made me so uneasy and anxious... I even got pictures of me and Y-Yira-" Taehyung teared up at the mention of his long gone girlfriend, resisting the urge to cry.

It was at that moment the three males realized that Yira wasn't in that apartment, not knowing what had happened to her.

"Did anything happen to her?" Hoseok asked, fearing the answer judging by the brunette's reaction.

Jimin looked at his friend in worry, knowing well that it would be difficult to break it to their friends about what happened.

"A-An accident happened.. While me and Tae where gone, somebody had broken in and- and.." The blonde male paused, not able to say the next few words.

It seemed as if the others understood what he meant, and look at Taehyung with pity in their eyes.

"The worst thing is.." Taehyung spoke up, keeping his gaze on his lap. "Is that we think the person behind it all, is my  own bestfriend... He used to be, at least.."

"Which bestfriend?" Jungkook asked, eyes wide as he listened intently.

"Somebody named M-Min Yoongi. He was my role model, I looked up to him so much. Another bestfriend of ours and Jimin's boyfriend, Kim Namjoon, didn't tell us even if he knew..."

Now it was Jimin's turn to have the three males look at him in pity, shrinking in his seat as if he thought of all of his memories with his ex.

None of the males realized, but Jin's eyes seemed to widen at Namjoon's name. He couldn't believe what he was hearing about the familiar male.

"W-We tried confirming if it was Yoongi, but there was no dna on anything. We had to leave, there was nothing we could do..." The blonde male sighed heavily.

Hoseok stood up and walked over to them, standing in between them and hugging them. 

"Don't worry guys, we'll make sure that he stays far away from you!" Jungkook and Jin nodded in unison, agreeing.

"Yeah, if anybody lays a finger on you two, they're screwed!" Jungkook grinned while flexing his muscles, proving what he meant.

Taehyung and Jimin chuckled, smiling at the three males. Even though they had went through so much, they were happy that they could count on the three males.
