Warning: marijuana use
Fulton went back to rummaging through his drawer, he came back to Y/N with a multicolored, glass pipe, a lighter, and a small baggie of weed."Fulton, is that pot?" Y/N asked.
Fulton nodded,
"Yeah, again, if you don't want to, you don't have to." He stated.
Y/N thought for a second, then slowly took the pipe from his hand, looking closely at it.
"This is really pretty."
She bit her lip, trying to make up her mind.
"Pack some in and light me up."
Fulton smiled, he took the pipe, put in some of the pot, then handed it back to Y/N with the lighter.
"Wait, I'll be right back!" Y/N said.
She handed the pipe back to Fulton, and speed-walked out of his room, back to hers. She grabbed the Vanilla Cupcake candle off of her nightstand and went back to Fulton's room. She shut the door, lit the candle, and put it on his desk.
"Just so it doesn't smell, open your window, too."
As he got up to crack his window open, she picked up the pipe, lit it up, and took a long inhale. The smoke flew up and around her face, she started to cough.
"Woo, here."
She handed the pot back to him for him to light up, and she grabbed her water from the nightstand, taking a sip to soothe her coughing. Fulton lit up, taking a long inhale. He took the hit a little better than Y/N, just blowing the smoke out with ease.
"You want another?" He asked, holding the pipe and lighter out.
"Why not?" She said, taking another hit.
This time, she had an easier time exhaling. The effects from the first rip were starting to come through.
"I think this is exactly what I've been needing, Fulton. Just to shut up and smoke."
He took another hit, nodding.
"Yeah, you can never go wrong with a smoke sesh after getting some work done."
Y/N laid on Fulton's bed, and he was still in the love seat.
"You wanna listen to music?" He asked.
Y/N's eyes went wide, she nodded vigorously,
"Yes, please! Play something good."
Fulton turned on his little desk radio, the first song that came on was Lithium by Nirvana.
Y/N gasped and squealed excitedly,
"I LOVE this song!"
She immediately got up from his bed and started to sway her hips. She motioned for Fulton to come near her, she was definitely high as a kite. She was giggling like it was nobody's business.
"Come dance with me, Fulton. Let's just vibe out."
Fulton was up from his chair, just kinda bouncing with her to the beat of the song. Y/N wrapped her arms around the back of his neck, looking into his bloodshot eyes. Fulton placed his hands on her hips.
"Fulton, I knew from the minute I saw you, that I was in love with you. And every time I see you, you keep proving me right. I love you."
"I love you, too, Y/N. You are the truest, most down to earth person I've ever met."Her eyes moved to his soft lips, they both leaned in slowly. Their lips lock, fireworks go off in her stomach. She moved her hand to his hair, lightly combing it with her fingers. They both pull away, smiling.
Y/N started to laugh, and couldn't stop. Soon Fulton followed in her footsteps. Hearing each other laugh was like music to their ears. When the song ends, they let each other go, and Y/N sat back down on his bed."Let's go do something, I'm getting bored." Y/N blurted.
Fulton nodded, grabbing his coat,
"Yeah, me, too. Wanna go grab some pizza at the student center?"
Y/N stood up, nodding,
"Ooh, yes, I'm so hungry."
He smiled and held his hand out,
"Alrighty, let's get going."
Y/N reached for his hand and laced fingers with him. Since she was still buzzed, her hand felt like it melted into his, a perfect fit.
"I'm having so much fun with you, I can't wait to see you play tomorrow," she said.
Fulton gave her hand a light squeeze,
"I can't wait either, it's our first game of the season."
He held the door open for them to leave Simmon's Hall, she gave him a smile to thank him. Y/N noticed that the sun was close to setting, the scenery was starting to become bright orange, and the sky was turning pink.
"The sunset is so gorgeous, look at it."
She points outward so that Fulton could see it, too.
"Yeah, that's nice. Let's go get our food so we can watch it go down," he suggested.
Y/N nodded and started to pick up her pace, basically pulling Fulton behind her. They arrive at the student center and each order a slice of pizza, Y/N gets cheese and Fulton gets supreme.
When it was time to pay, Y/N pulled out emergency money she kept in her back pocket. Fulton stopped her and gave the cashier a $5 bill.
After finishing the transaction, they grabbed their pizza and went back outside. Y/N brought him to a big oak tree and sat down in the grass underneath it, it had the perfect view to watch the sunset. He sat next to her, snaking his arm around her waist. Y/N leaned her head onto his shoulder, taking in the sunset.
All of the colors melting together made her feel like she was floating, she was still a little high, too. She felt like she was destined to be under that oak tree with Fulton.
She took her first bite of pizza, the cheese strang from her mouth to the bite mark made in the slice, which made her giggle. Fulton looks over at her, his mouth full of pizza.
"You're all giggles right now, what's so funny?" he asked, smiling.
Y/N continued to laugh, pointing the string of cheese hanging out of her mouth. This caused her and Fulton to erupt with laughter. She loved the way she was feeling, free. Being high made her feel like she could be herself with no shame, she was able to laugh her worries away.
As the sun fully set, they had both finished their pizza and were just enjoying each other's company. Fulton's arm was still around her waist, Y/N's head was resting on his shoulder. They both had sobered up a little, having had some food in their systems.
"That was beautiful, did you wanna head back?" He asked.
Y/N nodded, standing up and offering her hand out to help Fulton up. He accepted, holding on and standing up. They locked fingers and began their small journey back to Fulton's room.
