I don't really know what else to say except:

Probably the same trigger warnings as last time and enjoy!

Future me: not really any trigger warnings but anything about being told they're gonna be hit is def something in this part so.... yea

Enjoy (to the second power)

Keefe's POV:

"Keefe. Wake up."

I woke up and said,

"What?"

"Wake up, silly!" I felt something soft hit me in the side up of the head. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Sophie has just thrown a pillow at me.

Of course.

"Hey Foster!" I said. I was laying on Soph's bed and she was up on the flowered carpet leaning down to look at me.

She touched the bruise in the side of my face.

"Ow!" I exclaimed, rubbing the spot.

"You got hit pretty hard, Keefe. Are you sure you fell?" She questioned.

"Like I said, Soph, I'm fine!" I said, getting up and stretching.

"I'm just gonna take a quick shower, okay?"

"Okay!"

I got up and headed to the bathroom with a change of clothes I brought (just in case).

Sophie's POV:

I was sitting on my bed, waiting for Keefe to get out of the shower. As I was scrolling through TikTok, I was interrupted by a

Bing

I looked at Keefe's phone on the nightstand.

Text Messages: Father Dearest 😒

I wanted to giggle at the name but looked at the message.

Get home right now or I'll hit you like you've never been hit before.

Oh my gosh.

OH MY GOSH.

My head was rushing.

Keefe is being abused?

Why didn't he tell me?

When I get my hands on Keefe dad I'll-

Keefe then came into the room with a fresh pair of clothes on and wet hair.

I wanted to admire how cute he looked but was to mad.

"Hey Fos-" I cut him off

"Why didn't you tell me you were being hit?!" I yelled.

"What?"

"You're being hit by your father, Keefe I know that."

"How do you know that?"

I looked down. It wasn't my place to go through his phone.

"Look.. it was not my place to look at your dad's text. But I was curious why he was texting you in the first place." I said, in complete guilt.

"No, it wasn't  your place to go through my phone.." Keefe started.

"Keefe... please-"

"Soph..."

"Yea?"

"I know we've gone through a lot together, but... this I feel like.."

"Keefe, just spit it out."

"I feel like this is too much for you to handle."

"..what?"

"This is way to much on your anxiety and all that.."

"No it's not! We just have to find a way to-"

"Sophie... please. This is too much for you right now."

"I- please Keefe.."

"Please what?"

"We can find a way to get you out of your dad situation.... please?"

"..."

"Keefe please just say something.."

"I really don't know what to say, Sophie. I really don't know."

"I'm soooo sorry, Keefe. I feel like a terrible girlfriend and-" Tears started to well my eyes at that point, as Keefe cut me off.

"Soph.. I'm so sorry please don't cry... I.. forgive you for the phone thing and I guess..... we'll find a way to make this work. You always do." He said, pulling me into a hug and kissing the top of my head.

Keefe hated it when she cried. Hated it more than anything.

"What... are we gonna do.... y'know... about your dad?" I asked through sniffles.

"Soph... I-I really don't know." Keefe said, still hanging on to Sophie like his life depended upon it.

"But... at least we'll get through it together." She said, pulling away from the hug slightly to go on her tip-toes and give him a peck on the cheek.

Later, they fell asleep with Sophie in Keefe's arms.

At peace. Finally.

Or maybe not...
