Niko was at the front waiting for Ryakos consert to start "So i wonder if he remembers me" Niko said holding a picture of him and Ryako as kids he then heard Ryakos voice as he was starting the concert Niko put the picture back in his bag his tail swaying a bit and his ears still hidden in his hat not long after the concert was finishes he watch as Ryako talked and sighed autographs for fans Niko sighed "why am i so scared to talk to him well i guess 8 almost 9 years is a long time" Niko mumbled out he sighed again then started to walk away Ryako noticed Niko leaving "im sorry but i will be right back i need to go do something" Ryako said then stood up and started to run over to Niko "wait!" Ryako yealls out to Niko "huh?" Niko mumbled as he stopped walking and turned around "Can i help you Ryako" Niko said "yes i want to ask something" Ryako said "yah go ahead" Niko said chooseing not to read his mind "Do you remember me Niko?" Ryako asked Niko smiled and pulled a picture out of his bag and showed Ryako the picture of them as kids "of course i do its the whole reason i came here but i got a bit nervous" Niko said smiling "well Niko i have to get back but would you like to meet me for coffee at jitters lets say.......... tomorrow around 10?" Ryako said "yah that would be nice see you tomorrow then Ryako" Niko said "ok see you then" Ryako said and for the first time in a long time Ryako truly smiled he went to back to the fans for the talks and autographs Niko looked at Ryako and smiled then walked away as to he had to go do something the next day they met up a jitters Ryako was already there when Niko walked in he looked around then saw Ryako he took a deep breath and walked to him and sat across from him "hey sorry im a bit late hope i didn't keep you waiting to long i got caught up with something" Niko said his eyes kinda dull but held a little light "its ok i just got her not to long ago myself"Ryako said Niko had his hat adjusted so his ears would show his tail was swaying "how have you been Niko" Ryako asked "ive uh ive been good i guess and just ask it already Ryako" Niko said Ryako looked a bit suprised "how. . ." Ryako mumbled "ive learned how to use my power so im reading your mind" Niko said "oh guess i will ask then. Why did you leave never say anything and never trying to talk to me again" Ryako said Niko looked at the table "I never wanted to leave i couldn't say anything and i did try i just couldn't i have a lot to explain huh" Niko said "well then explain i have the time" Ryako said "something happened i don't know what exactly and my parents did something and wound up in prison i was put in foster care i wasn't allowed to say goodbye to anyone for reasons i still dont know and my foster familys wernt always the best most of them did things things i dont want to talk about yet and even in the few good homes i had i wasn't ever able to find you and when i did i figired id uhh convince my foster family to move here and they did so im here im still in the foster system as to nobody want to adopt me im just a temporary distraction for everyone so yah" Niko explained " Niko that doesn't sound like everything has been good" Ryako said Niko looked at the table again "well sometimes you just got to believe everything will be ok" Niko said his tail fell lifeless his ears perked up as he was listening to everything around him "you remember that little saying i used to tell you all the time" Ryako said a bit suprised Niko smiled a bit "of course i do i used to repeat that when id miss you or i need to chear up pluse one small thing thats both good and bad about being a dream demon is i can remember anything and everything to the smallest detail" Niko said Ryako laughed a bit at Niko " youve hardly changed you know "Ryako said "yah. . hardly" Niko mumbled he fiddled with his fingers almost as if he had to in order to keep a level head "maybe we should order the coffee " Niko said "yah" Ryuako said then wnt and ordered their coffee "anyway how have you been and what made you want to become a such a famous singer you used to be so shy" Niko said looking him in the eyes "well once you left i was devastated i couldn't understand why you left and non of the adults would explain it so i coped by writing small lyrics and one day i was in the music room practicing and someone heard i was very nervous at first but they slowly became one of my closest friends and eventually i think i fell in love with them..."Ryako said The person then broght them the coffee "thank you" Ryako said "no problem" the person said and walkes away as Niko heard Ryako say the last part his ears bent down he stared at the coffee in the cup he was now holding "what ever happened to them?" Niko said he tapped a finger on the cup repeatedly "well as i was saying before i went weeks without telling them and when i did he looked at me and said im sorry but you don't and i was so confused at first so i asked why and he said because i was already in love woth someone else that i still haven't let go i had a few other friends befor but i never really understud what or who he ment but we kept talking and wound up making a small website and we posted videos of us singing together we never showed our faces or anything and at some point a producer came up to us and well offered all this and we expected about 3 years ago he had to move away and then it was just me so yah thats pretty much all of it" Ryako said "did you ever find out what he ment as to you were still in love with someone else?" Niko asked then took a sip of his coffee "i dont know maybe" Ryako said looking into Nikos eyes he then took a sip of coffee and Nikos ears perked up again "oh ok" Niko said "Niko did you ever make any new friends?" Ryako asked "no not really i moved schools alot so i never bothered to i was always the new kid anyway" Niko replied he closed his eyes for a moment " Did the bullying ever stop"Ryako asked "no i guess not but i got used to it" Niko said as he opened his eyes they held no light they were dull he heard something on the news play about how Niko was a run away he stood up "i have to go sorry if you want to keep talking i guess meet me at the cherry blossom park tomorrow i will be there all day so yah"Niko kept faceing the ground "uh ok" Ryako said he didn't see the news report Niko then left almost in a hurry someone Ryako worked with walked up to Ryako "that friend of yours looks "alot like the kid on TV" the girl said "what do you mean Courtney" Ryako said Courtney sighed "watch some TV its bound to stream again but we need to get going anyway" Courtney said "yah ok" Ryako said and they went to the studio meanwhile with Niko "guess they want me now damnit why now why is it streaming here they are quite a few countrys away"Niko mumbled then made it to his apartment he walked in and locked the door "i didnt leave any traces so how would they know im here"Niko said then laid on his bed he thought about all that happened " i wont go back" Niko mumbled then turned on the TV and watched TV the rest of the day
